Indiana Health Information Exchange

Indiana Health Information Exchange (IHIE) is a health information exchange organization rather than a traditional EMR/EHR vendor. Founded in 2004, IHIE operates one of the nation's largest and most comprehensive health information exchanges, serving over 30 hospitals, 16,000 physicians, 100 clinics, and more than 7 million patients across Indiana. The organization maintains the Indiana Network for Patient Care (INPC), which aggregates clinical data from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive longitudinal patient record accessible to authorized healthcare providers.
