Home treatment for gas and bloating includes things like: Avoiding foods and drinks that make symptoms worse. (Some examples are chocolate, peppermint, alcohol, and, in some cases, spicy foods or acidic foods like tomatoes and citrus fruits.) Taking antacids. Not smoking. Not eating right before bedtime.
