Shoe dermatitis is inflammation of the skin on the foot. It is an allergic reaction caused by contact with rubber, glue, or elastic parts of shoes. Symptoms of shoe dermatitis may include: Itching and burning. Mild redness. Swollen, blistered, and irritated skin.
