I would NEVER recommend this hospital to anyone. I had brought my son in when he was 17 months with constant throwing up. We tried to make it to Women’s and Children’s but we decided to just go in town instead because we were scared. First they tried to put an IV in my son’s arm, which apparently they didn’t know how to do. They stuck my son over and over with him screaming and crying because no one could get it right. I counted the holes the next morning and he had 5 in one arm and 7 in the other. I was pregnant with my second son and almost passed out because of my son screaming in pain. When he started finally getting fluids, the doctor came, without ever looking at my son, asked me what did my son eat that day, which I responded to, he started saying he ate too much sugar, which he didn’t. Come to find out, my son had a stomach virus that was going around his daycare. NEXT, when my first son was almost 2, he couldn’t pee all of a sudden on his own. It was out of the blue. He was screaming and crying because he couldn’t use it. We had no choice but to go back to this hospital. They used a catheter and that same damn doctor said my son had a uti and gave a prescription. This was at night so the next morning, same thing he couldn’t pee again. We went back and after another catheter his pediatrician said to go to Women’s and Children’s. We ended up staying for a week, having tests done to see what’s wrong. Come to find out, there was never a uti, my son had a tethered spinal cord, which caused him not to pee on his own. He ended up having to have surgery for it. Please make the drive to a different hospital. I will never go back here.

I brought my baby to the er in church point and they sent her home with a fever of 102 and said it was just a running nose. Come to find out it was an infection. I was treated so rude by telling me I don't clean my baby nose that's why she's sick. I'm sorry this hospital is horrible.
