I have been served by this hospital for many years and have had excellent professional care provided to me in every instance. I have also been served by all three of the large hospitals in Fort Wayne and I compare Adams Memorial very favorably to them. I have had several major surgeries at Adams Memorial, in addition to enumerable tests and rehabilitative procedures and in every case the care was outstanding! I cannot say enough positive things about this small community hospital! Even the cafeteria food and dietary division is outstanding! I feel very fortunate to be able to have virtually any medical procedure, test, treatment and expert consultation done within two miles of my doorstep. Adams County and the surrounding area is lucky to have this fine facility! -Teryl R. Smith

I have gotten excellent care at Adams. I was treated in stat care for influenza last winter. I was here for lab tests and a sleep study last spring. I was here for a mammogram today. Each visit has been a positive one.

The staff has been friendly, caring and professional. The wait time has been reasonable in registration and in the respective departments. The facility is clean. I trust Adam's to provide quality care.

The ER doctor ripped a dressing that was stuck on my open wound and I started screaming. I was still shaking when he left the room and returned few minutes later and called me a junkie for wanting pain medicine. I haven't been to pain management in over two years. If I was a junkie, I would not still have pain meds left in the bottle I was given 2 years ago, and I offered to show him the bottle. This doctor had no bedside manner whatsoever. I was admitted, spent 5 months the hospital, and am finally doing better.

Spoke with multiple levels of staff at this hospital unfortunately, rude and not compassionate. Their Mission Statement is to "serve for a better community" they need to practice what they advertise.
