Though a good many night nurses were excellent, 2 of the daytime nurses were beyond belief. Broken monitors beeping constantly, never fixed. Couldn't sleep. , constant rescheduling of doctors, leaving me hungry and not able to sleep. doctors lied and had no reason to keep me medically last night but wanted me to stay just so they could have a more convenient time to show up the next day. No fresh towels, bed lines changed once in 5 days. Some very condescending nurses and doctors. ER staff was great however. But they will 'upsell' scans and stays for no real reason even after telling you prior scans showed all good. Cafeteria woman was always rude when calling for meals, no reason. 1 nurse was outside my door listening to a private phone call then when it was finished popped in the door and berated me for 'blasting' the hospital staff to a family member on the phone. Seriously? 1 nurse constantly lied, so I ended up recording conversations on my phones and taking pictures to prove to the staff she was lying. She actually attempted to hook me up to a IV drug bad that a Dr. never even ordered! 5 day nightmare. Lastly trying to find a native English speaking Dr. or nurse is a heavy task as well. Kudos to the good nurses at night, they were beyond reproach and extremely helpful at all times.

I had a nuclear stress test on Wednesday the 21st of August. It was scheduled for 12:30 pm. The appointment time is important because the hospital as well as the staff will know who was on duty since I completely forgot to ask for anyone’s name. Every single lady who was involved in my tests was super. A special shout out to the phenomenal nurse who explained everything precisely and assured me over and over. Thank you to each and everyone of you. Now I’m hoping for a good outcome.

So I'm here now for 6 days for stomach issue and the staff is great. I'm on 3rd floor and the staff is wonderful. The specialist Dr atia is great. The food is good except for the fruit plate lol. And the best staff member who went above and beyond to help everyone is Andrea S. So helpful and nice. Thanks for a great visit in the hospital. And thanks Andrea for making the hospital stay comfortable. Sincerely Raymond W.

I have been taking my parents here for numerous tests, outpatient surgeries and they have received great care. The only complaint I have is the emergency room. I took my 18 months old son there TWICE but were let go with wrong diagnosis of flu when he was VERY ill with a major medical condition. His primary care doctor admitted him to Good Shepherd and the resident doctor was great and curious enough to do a simple ultrasound to identify a serious medical issue, which saved my son's life.

Impossible to get through to central scheduling. After holding for 20+ minutes the recording gives you the option to leave a message, if you select the option, it takes you to another automated operator with prompts and then hangs up on you. Customer service manager should look into this.
