I took my mom to two of her appointments here. I honestly dread going to her doctors appointments because many of her doctors and staff are not the friendliest. This was my first time coming with her to advocate and I cannot express enough how wonderful the staff was. They blew me away with their kindness and patience. Everyone from the security, nurses, techs and receptionist were amazing. Since the hospital is very big we had to ask for directions a couple of times. Nurses did not hesitate to walk us to our destination and make sure that we were comfortable. I am completely impressed with this hospital and their staff.

DO NOT GO HERE! I experienced a seizure and was taken to the ER. They told me to call neurology the next day and tell them I was just in ER to get an appointment ASAP. The woman on the phone didn't care and said I could NOT get an appointment and to go to my general practitioner instead. She didn't give a damn about the fear I had having never had seizures before and didn't even attempt to work with me. I've had the unfortunate luck of having been here before where I was bleeding profusely and the ER made me sit in the waiting room for 3 hours, which ended up causing me to cover the wheelchair I was in with blood.

They don't care about you, to them you are nobody but an annoyance.

My ER experience was good. I'm an RN myself and had to come in for a dog bite injury to my hand. I felt well taken care of and think that their use of the Fast Track is really helpful to get immediate care for injuries like mine.

The staff there are so rude!! The operators are so much nicer that the front desk people that works in the actual site.. Needed to see a O.B doctor a.s.a.p. Then Aracely put me on hold for half an hour then after that a girl name Jennifer answer the call telling about some other patient information. I had to cut her off and say that I'm not that patient. Then put me on hold again!! Just to give me a appointment. Then Jennifer answer again she was so rude!! I had my son there 14yrs ago and the staff was so nice. I wanted to have this baby there too. How things are looking I dont think so. I'll take my service somewhere else

Just received the bill for $400 facility fee for one basic Dr.'s office visit! This was at Advocate Health in Chicago. What a joke! When I called my insurance (they didn't pay any of it of course) they said that they are seeing more and more of these "facility fees" coming through. Is there anyone filling a class-action on this? sign me up! I just thank god that we don't have serious illnesses that require frequent Dr. visits. I feel for those who are in the trenches with this stuff. Broken system indeed. Maybe all those in Washington who like to hear themselves talk on BOTH SIDES need to stop their yapping and get to work...we are being eaten alive out here!
