Allen County Regional Hospital

This hospital is a waste of tax payers money. It's nothing but a bandage station. I gave it a 1 because you can pick 0.

My grandmother was treated poorly on top of receiving an incorrect diagnosis which could have been fatal. They also have not taken her complaints of improper care seriously. After a second attack, she went to the hospital in Chanute where they were compassionate and correctly diagnosed her. She was able to get surgery quickly and is recovering well. I wish she lived closer to KC that way I could have been there but I’m glad she was able to get to Chanute. I would not recommend Allen County hospital to anyone who cares about themselves or their family members.

Everyone is different and I see that a few have given good and bad reviews. But from my own experience I have nothing bad to say. I was there at the ER and everyone was very nice and attentive with me.

I have been in the ER and several outpatient departments. Everyone from checking in at the front and throughout have been friendly and efficient. It is very clean and comfortable in the lobby and waiting rooms. I have found the wait times to be low. The gift shop has lots of small gifts to choose from. The dining has been good for me.
