Staff was so nice to my daughter, but yesterday my grandson of 1yr & 4 months was taken in thru the ER, ER nurse was ordered to take blood and un-successfully took blood but not per trying to draw blood but because they sure did try more than 5 times on one hand 3 times, If your staff is not familiar on drawing blood on a infant/child I say stop on the 2nd try, I hope no other baby is put thru this again, Sincerely upset grandmother E. I went for chest pain. The charge nurse called me back. I couldn't walk fast because of my back. She said do you need a walker. The when they put a IV in told them can't put in my right arm had abiopsie. The charge nurse told the nurse doing it to go ahead. Then the charge nurse went to raise my back up with no warning just flung me up which hurt my back. But the Doctor was great. Her name is renee i believe.

Horrible!! Our son went in with a broken leg, we are from Texas . They put him a crappy splint , and we had to beg for pain medicine for our two hour drive back home. Didn't even refer him to an orthapedic surgeon. Dr. McElyea couldn't even pull up an x ray. I dont recommend anyone to the Woodward hospital! It was such a joke. We are back in Texas and the doctors over here said they couldn't believe the splint they had him in, looked like a child had put it on.
