Have only been to this hospital once, but it is very nice. It was great to get Saint Luke's service, without driving all the way to Kansas City. I only had a routine preventive check done, so I can't speak to the other services. As to the reviews complaining about not releasing personal information over the phone, that's pretty standard for most any hospital, due to privacy laws.

I have been to this hospital several times on several occasions I have been treated with the upmost consideration and Care personally I have been in the medical field for 37 years I could be very critical of medical care however I understand the pressures and the strain that people in the medical field are under therefore I want to be more considerate.the doctors and the staff have treated me very professionally sometimes it’s easy to be critical of things We don’t understand laws and restrictions in the medical field are abundant

This place is a joke! My father was rushed from his home in an ambulance. I called the hospital in Iola and they are very helpful and let me know he was not there. I called this hospital let them know it was my FATHER. And I could verify any information they needed and I get told he may be there but they can not release that info. I asked to speak to the Supervisor they said they would be glad to give me a call back I stated no I can hold. Finally a lady gets on the phone said that she couldn't verify it either but would give me a call back that was 45 min past. I then called they tell me oh she's in a meeting and will call me when she gets out of the meeting! So I still don't know what the status is this place is beyond inconsiderate and the lady "Judith" as well as her supervisor should be fired! How hard is it to let someone know the status they said they couldn't confirm who I am. I mean really who calls hoatipals randomly with all verifying information just to past time. I wonder if they would appreciate it if it was one of thier family members!

For a brand new hospital, it is really sad when you ask for the whole price of an appointment and they quote you only 50% of what it really is. Felt like I was having to do the majority of my own Healthcare care because I was dealing with the system. Specialty Clinic office staff and nurses are personable. Lab Techs are experienced and know exactly what they're doing.

If I could give negative stars I would. Worst hospital experience possible. I was brought in to ER with a broken shoulder. When The ambulance arrived the EMT took a lot of extra time to look over my entire house. I was home alone when I fell off a latter so why was this guy looking my house over? The doctor on duty yelled at me for not understanding what she said immediately. The nurse left the room door open while the same EMT who looked over my house stared fixedly at me for an extended period of time from the hallway. It was creepy and a little scary. I was quite and undemanding during the entire visit while praying my husband would pick me up before things got weirder.
