I had back surgery at Arise on 8/13/19. This didn't feel like a gloomy hospital stay at all! Everything was on point as scheduled. All of the staff was so friendly and so comforting. Everything was explained at all times every step of the way. My room was spacious and comfortable. My husband could come and go or just stay at any time. The staff was empathetic and attentive. There was never a wait if I needed a nurse. If I ever needed surgery of any kind again, there is no place I would rather stay.

Like most of the times, there are good and bad things to say:

The good: Facilities are Ok, no issues there.

The bad: Billing, Billing department is very inefficient: If you read other reviews, most of the complains are about billing, is impossible to communicate with them, they do not call you back and they mess up the bill.

My Case: For starting there are two account numbers in the Bill, no explanation for that: 80078298G, 294581, the bill shows a balance, and such balance is there because they sent the bill to the insurance and the Insurance requested a documentation of the implant put in my wife and they haven't sent that to the insurance, and instead of sending the documentation they sent me a bill. Now I'm constantly trying to get in touch to get the situation straightened but as other reviews say: it's impossible to communicate with the Billing department.

Summary: If your procedure is not urgent, try to find a place where billing works, because the last thing you want to think about during a recovery is whether this place is going to mess up your bill and you are going to go through hell to get it fixed.

Update: Was able to communicate, seems to be easier in the early morning, called and they said to disregard current Bill I received since they are working with the insurance, wonder if after due date they will just send the account to collection despite "working with the insurance" like other reviews have mentioned, since it's all verbal, nothing written for that part. It was an "Error" to send that bill, disappointment.

Only giving 2 stars for the CT SCAN STAFF. She was friendly. Amazing. And DEFINITELY approachable.

However the customer service desk/check in desk staff were beyond rude and unfriendly. I was referred by my doctor to head over to do an emergency ct scan. I was given this location. I show up and come up to the person name rahzelyn. She asks for my information and when i told her i did not have them, she placed her hands on the desk and literally rolls her eyes at me, in front of me, for not providing the asked information. At this point in time, She has no clue what type of day I've had. What im feeling. Whats going through my mind because i have to take an emergency ct scan. But for me to come upon her, to roll her eyes at me because information was not presented, was beyond unsatisfactory on yalls part. Being in customer service, you would think she would have a better way of reacting, considering i was in no way rude to her. Just an innocent stranger coming in following my doctor's orders.

Afterwards she gives me papers to fill out. And still mumbles under her breath "how am i going to show up without certain forms" to which my response was: MAYBE ITS BECAUSE MY DOCTOR WAS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT MY HEALTH AS OPPOSE TO THESE FORMS YOU ARE ASKING FOR! Just after saying that she looked like she realized something and no longer became confrontational towards me. I am a new patient and i sure as hell did not plan on being treated like that over some forms. Check your staff before hiring.

This is not even a real hospital. If you really want the truth ask them to show you the emergency room. What a joke. Wouldnt send my dog here. On second thought, it would make a lovely animal hospital.

I looked thru the reviews, and it looks like some of them are from employees or doctors. Dr Martin Thai posted a five star review about the place he works. What a joke.

The best of the best service in the most laidback and nicest places to have surgery, and not to mention, the best breakfast ever. I am forever grateful and blessed for this awesome team. Thank you Dr. Ruff and all involved..
