Always had great service. Drs and staff have always been great.
Parking on the other hand is the worst pain.
The ER has got to be the worst, people on the floor laying down, my son is one, they were going to draw his blood in a wheelchair chair but they couldn’t cause he kept passing out so they sent him back to the waiting room to lay on the floor, at the other end of waiting room a lady laying on the floor, my daughter-in-law asked person at desk for a warm blanket for my son for he was freezing cold, every head in the room lifted and turned due to her yelling that she is too busy and can’t leave her desk, there were two others in the area with her one sitting on the counter the other leaning up against the wall they were talking in a visiting type manor conversation was not work, someone just came out to see if we were still here, when I asked for a warm blanket he said they would give him one when he is brought back, something about there suppliers equipment down and they don’t have that many, but no word when he was going to go back there, will be contacting who ever I have to, to get some help with this place oh and the guy just came out to get blood while he is on the floor of waiting room, it is now been 4 hours waiting in waiting room on floor he still cannot sit up, yet I have watched people walking in that have been seen and left, this ER need someone to come in and clean it up remove the rude people, bring in some more Drs if that is what is needed, I have never seen an ER with this many problems before, I will be sending letters to whoever it takes to try and get better care for this Valley,
At this point anyone in need of care go to Providence or California anywhere but here for ER care,
Fuxk the urgent care facilitie, i wonder in what universe it takes 4 hours to see and diagnose a deep tissue bruises funny srill sitting here waiting, would be wise to avoid this place, unless you have nothing better to do then sit around and wait for nothing
Friday morning on May 10th my daughter and I rushed her 2yo into the waiting ER through the ambulance entry. (We had arrived by police escort as she was critical) I then parked the car in the appropriate lot and brought her 10 month old in through the regular ER entry doors. I asked the reception man to please buzz me in. He snapped at me and said "When I'm finished here, I'll get to you". I stepped back and waited while he roomed someone into registration then he proceeded to shuffle around in my line of sight doing nothing of importance to make me wait longer. He slowly came back to the window and said, "now what do you want?" I explained again and he told me I could not go in, to sit down and it would be 10 -20 minutes. I didn't sit but stood and began to call on my phone to get help elsewhere while he buzzed in two people that were behind me in line. He then changed his mind and said I could go in but rudely lectured me on not getting in the way. He asked what my relationship was to the patient. I told him her grandmother . He finally buzzed me in, but waited till I was halfway to the doors then yelled at me for all to hear "Hey Grandma, come get this" as he pushed a visitor's sticker towards me.
Our family had just spent a week at OHSU with this child and here we were in a critical situation being bullied by a puffed up receptionist. My husband immediately contacted administration but nothing came of it. A total blow off.
The ER team were great. Particularly the pediatrician that was called in.
Families in crisis don't need extra stress! Train your front end Rogue Regional, families come first.
Rude staff, 6th floor nurses station. They need to hire some people who have some sort of customer service. Stood at nurses station waiting to be helped, numerous nurses walked by us and stood two feet from us, looked at us and not one asked if we had been helped. They need to hire new people and fire these idiots. Didn't even want to give them one star.
