feedback about Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center
The worst hospital in the valley. In professional staff, no bedside manner, and they do not care about their patients. We have gone there twice and both times have left without the treatment we came for due to them being rough handed and unprofessional. Do not go here if you want to be treated in a caring and compassionate manner. Mike Newman is a horrible Nurse Practitioner and if you put your life in his hands you will regret it. He treats other staff like dogs as well as patients. There is a reason his has only been a nurse practitioner for 3 years. He also violates patients rights and his own staff have to apologize for him and used the words "they are appalled at his behavior. We will be filing formal complaints . That is one good thing about having worked in healthcare and social services for 20 plus years. We are well aware of the laws and he has violated quite a few. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for treatment.
I was really sick. They were so nice to me. This hospital is one of the top 100 in the nation. Their nurses are polite and doctors are extremely well poised in explaining in detail everything I wanted to know. If anything ever happens to me physically or behaviorally please send me to Asante.
They did a good job keeping my partner comfy and calm during birth.
BUT i wasn't even offered a water the whole time I was there.
Its a very stressful and hectic time for the father too, depending on your character.
The only one who perked me up was the c section doctor, he lifted me up to make me see the beauty of birth, and what a magical moment!
I can't remember his name but thank you.
Terrible experience in the ER. Atrocious, hours of waiting just to be put in a hallway that was made into a make shift fast track. Really, i thought i was teleported to a third world hospital. They don't give trigger point injections, so their solution was two tylenol.
This hospital saved our 31 week old baby. Their NICU staff is outstanding. Compassionate and competent, we could not ask for more. We also had to visit the ER at one point during the pregnancy... they were quite busy and our Nurses had floated from the ICU to help out. We've found that you are generally surrounded by 5 star individuals throughout this hospital and Asante in general.
