Nurse Mathew was very rude and unpleasant to be around. I was transported by the ambulance to the ER. while in his car, he mad inappropriate/unprofessional comments. when I asked for extra blankets due to shivering, he stated there was none but when I asked the doctor he gave it to me. He was not comforting or nurturing at all. He did it even try to assist me and kept saying, “you want to go home right”

The security was also rude to my family. They went to sit in the waiting room and fell asleep. I was there from 4am to like 8am. He told them couldn’t be there if patients are discharged (I was not yet). He made them wake up and stay away. He even shut off the TV on them.

Worse experience ever.

Broke 5 ribs in a fall... was transferred here due to trauma. What a fabulous experience. Staff is amazing, everyone we came in contact with was helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and kept my hubby updated on all procedures. We cannot say enough about the professional treatment I received. Clean private room and good food made a terribly accident bearable.

My father was in the acuity specialty hospital. The staff is top heavy with management who are incompetent, condescending and patronizing. The nurses and physical therapists were understaffed but for the most part competent. Some more caring than others. One out of the two head nurses was a nightmare. Very, very nasty individual. I would never send a family member there again. There is no one in management available on weekends or holidays either.

4 visits in 2 days for a extreme bloody nose. kept sending me home. one time they released me, i took two steps, my nose burst open, i turned around and the receptionist said i had to wait again. i said you just saw me walk out the door 2mins ago( as blood was pouring from my face.
finally had to go to another Hospitol where i actually saw a ENT who admitted me for 2 days found and corrected the problem.
had i stayed i would of died from a bloody nose. imagine that. if they cant even stop a nose bleed, how would they correct another issue.
** they told me no ENT on staff however when i saw the ENT 2days later at another hospitol he told me that was odd because he was on call for atlantic care that night.

if i posted photos of the bleed i would prob get banned..
