I have never had any problems with the Dr.s or nurses. They have all been great at every clinic I have been to. The receptionists are always on top of things whether you are calling or standing there. The people who draw blood, I compliment them when their needles don't have shards on them that make sticking me painless and without bruising.
The X-Ray technicians always set me up right the first time so I don't have to stay in awkward positions that really hurt.
I am so happy that the MRI unit is not in the semi any more. Feels less confining. Those guys know I am clostriphobic and talk me through everything. I have a wash cloth over my eyes, and now they have headphones. They didn't work, but the did block out 3/4 of the noise. That is a bonus right there. They are great guys.
Aurora is a great place.

Came into the ER on August 31, 2018 with a swollen left leg. I was in extreme pain. I stated it was DVT as this happened once before to me. The doctor looked at my leg and asked me why I came into the ER with this. I was dumbfounded. I said to the doctor, I saw you looked at my history. I said again it was a DVT. The doctor said she would take my INR and if it is sub-therapeutic, she would send me for a Doppler on my leg. My INR was tested and I was sub-therapeutic at 1.1. The doctor prescribed Xarelto and Coumadin and sent me home. There was no Doppler done. An hour later after I was home, I had to call the ambulance again and went to St Joe's Hospital. They did a Doppler and full catscan and found blood clots not only in my thigh, but also in the abdomen. I would have died if I didn't advocate for myself. I will not be paying this bill. I have started the grievance process.
