Avera Heart Hospital of South Dakota

My husband has been a patient at this hospital several times over the years. He has always received the very best care from the doctors, nurses, pharmacists, patient care techs, and lab techs. The employees treat the patients and family members with respect and caring. We are so fortunate to have this facility so close. Also it is so helpful and comforting to have the Prairie Guest House available when we need it, and at such an affordable price.

This is the best hospital! The people that work there are amazing! My dad has been there a number of times over the past 10yrs and every visit is always great! Highly recommend this place! They know what they are doing!!

I cannot thank this hospital enough for the care my mother received! We never felt in "the dark" about everything that was going on and I felt cared for, too. I have been in many hospitals in the Midwest can say that Avera Heart Hospital has exceptional care and expertise! It was nice to be able to stay in a very clean and specious room connected hotel (for a GREAT RATE) so I could get rest and be "right there" while my mom was recovering. Thanks!

Dr. Olson is one of the best dr in his field! The Avera Heart Hospital is the best in the area!! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Hospital is great, they are cautious when they need to be or fast. But heads up, the attached hotel is aweful. The beds are hard, pillows look soft but they are flat, not the world's best hotel if I got the choice again I won't stay there again
