Excellent experience. Their nurse educator, Lorie, was so incredibly helpful to me after my mother was discharged. I had to come back because my mother had a tube in her stomach that wouldn't fit any syringes we had in our home. I walked on the unit where my mother was discharged and the nurse educator, Lorie, was about to leave. She asked if I needed something and I told her what my dilemma was. She immediately knew what it was and she helped me. She sat and helped me order the correct syringes for which I am grateful. What an asset to the hospital she is. She calmed me and walked out with me and I found out she was a Naval Officer. I thanked her for her service. Very appreciative. Thank you Gateway for having such a gem on your staff.

The floors were really clean and the place in general was pretty. The nurses are always kind to me when I go, and those at the help desk are very informative. The only thing is that it isn't uncommon to see critters running around. However the sliding doors are always opening and closing so... it makes sense why there would be bugs.

From the moment we walked in we had such a wonderful experience. All the nurses were amazing and made me feel so comfortable and taken care of. The delivery doctor was even more amazing and spent so much time talking to my husband and I before and after our c-section. My husband is hard to impress sometimes and he was SO happy with our birth experience and everyone involved! I honestly wasn’t ready to come home!

Beautiful new hospital, but the location on the other hand is a different story. I feel very sorry for the patients here. Apparently, there is a dairy cattle farm nearby and on certain days, the smell outside the hospital is absolutely god awful. I thought it would just be outside, but the smell actually seeps into the building. Not a good thing by any means. That’s one of the reasons I quit working there.

My father came here after his doctor told him that The ER doctor would be able to take care of him. My father was seen by the ER doctor and they told him he would be having surgery tonight or tomorrow morning. So they have my father sit 7 hours and give, him hard medication and prep him just for the doctor to come in and tell him they don’t have room for him tomorrow and they can “maybe” get him as a outpatient Monday. When my father talked to the ER doctor again, told him nothing they could do. This kind of care is ridiculous and unacceptable. My father is in true pain and now has to wait a few days because a doctor won’t make time for him when they already told him they had room for him.
