First experience ever going to an ER as a patient. Nothing short of excellent. From the moment I checked in at the ER dept with a very efficient and kind young lady, to the triage nurse who took my information, then back into the ER with the great nursing staff and doctors . Imaging, transport, dietary, housekeeping and then up to the floor where I was admitted. I was so very grateful for the men and women that shared their knowledge, experience and expertise to help get me to a better state of health. I've never seen a more professional, well groomed, well mannered group of medical providers and hospital staff. Beautiful hospital with beautifully, wonderfully caring staff. Well done!

My son and I had a pleasant experience here and would return if ever needed. Every person we encountered has kind, professional and genuinely cared about helping us. I was impressed!

We had our fourth child at this hospital back in August and I regret interacting with this facility. When my wife went into labor, the intake team was really nice to both my wife and I. Once we were transferred to the L&D room, I(the father) became invisible. Half of the staff was great however, the other half treated me as an inconvenience to their existence. I generally respect the noble work of an RN however, it appears that their bedside manners are horrible. I had the opportunity to reflect on the birth of our first child and I can safely say the hospital staff and reputation has diminished immensely. I hope those who choose to use Banner Gateway, DEMAND the respect, dignity and decency as a patient/guest/family member as they will DEMAND payment for the bad service... #NOTTHISHOSPITAL

I read some previous reviews. I think people need to understand how ER works. Just because you got there before the people next to you does not mean you will be seen before other people. ER staff will see the person with most critical signs and symptoms. You might be throwing up every 30 minutes, but that can be considered a mild symptom compare to someone with signs & symptoms of stroke. Of course, ER staff will see someone with signs & symptoms of stroke first. Also, ER has limited beds. Meaning, they can't see you if their beds are full. Everything is relevant, and ER staff can't predict due to too many factors that can affect waiting time. My husband recently stayed in Banner Gateway. We simply visited ER thinking simple abdominal pain, but later found out he had a serious issue and end up in hospital. ER staff, pre-op staff, surgeons, and nurses (3rd and 4th floors) were all nice and kept their professionalism. They were doing their best to provide the service that each patient needs. I highly recommend this hospital compared to other hospitals that I've been to.

Kerry, the x ray professional was the sweetest man. He made my night 10 times better. I was his last patient of the day and it was around 11 pm. He didn't rush, he took his time and made me feel comfortable. Such a sweet man. I do have to say though the lady that checked my vitals before being called back to my room was very, very rude. Other than that. Great experience from the doctors and nurses.
