all staff except for the actual doctor were amazing. the nurse and lady at the front desk were very nice and helpful. however, doctor Blackburn was rude and did not listen to me. he acted like i was stupid when i told him my symptoms then checked my throat with no gloves and his grimy little hands touched my tongue with the ear nose and throat flashlight and i tried to pull away. it took 3 hours to get back a strep throat result which was negative so he just numbed my throat and told me i just have a sore throat. a couple days later my throat has only worsened and now both of my tonsils are swollen because he didn’t take my symptoms seriously.

I had a wond e rful experience with Staff at Heber from the greeters to the check in staff to the Er the people here are so very kind. The nurses and Doctors we saw were awsome. Very pleased. I had surgery there yesterday. They are unable to do MRI there in the Er they can not be ordered. They told me your doctor could order them so you should have Fu appointment. If your mother was unable to lift her leg they should have sent you to LR to the Uams or St vincents where Orthopedic surgeons are available. Maybe they told you. It is always hard to. Have everything at a community hospital. We need to have a community hospital so that strokes heart attacks etc can begin treatment immediately to save from tissue and brain damage and then they would be air lifted to LR. We need this small hospital.

Dr. Blackburn in the er wouldn't even look at my son. He spoke to me like I was an idiot and raised his voice at me in front of my children. I just needed help for my son. Never waste your time, especially with this "doctor".

I've been here twice. Once emergency with a hospital stay and once for a stint. Both times I have never received BETTER service and attention. And to top it all off, the food was delicious!

A clean, well designed, up-to-date hospital, with friendly, personable and knowledgeable staff. Our nurse and anesthesiologist were very experienced and calming (no pun intended), while Dr. Wallace has a great bedside manner and was a competent surgeon for a wrist fracture. Our only complaint might be that he wait time with an appointment was a little long, almost two hours. However, the care was excellent, which was the most important criteria for us.
