Very rude staff unfortunately. My step mother is a patient here and is afraid to get out of bed because day shift won’t put her back in bed within a reasonable time. I went to the nurses station to ask for water and the nurse Erica ignored me despite me being the only patron at the desk and no other staff member around. She had a very bad disposition. I tried to lighten the moment with small chit chat by asking what their nurse patient nurse ratio was and she told me she didn’t know then followed it with “you asked for ice and water, didn’t you?” She filled the pitcher with ice but when I asked if the water was changed she told me that it gets changed daily and would not pour fresh. Very unfortunate for patients when they are sick and there only because they need help.
It was good and they was nice
Excellent emergency room staff. Dr. Brady Richardson was on call. Great attention to my issue. Quite efficient and thorough, and a great sense of humor to lighten the mood. Helpful, caring nurses. Great all around treatment
My Father is a resident of the Mississippi Veteran's Home and was recently admitted to Montfort Jones Memorial Hospital with Pneumonia. He is in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's, so his care is very important to my brothers and I. We have had many experiences with hospitals in Newton and Meridian, but the care we have received here at Montfort Jones is superb. The facility is wonderful, and the staff are very professional, friendly and focused on providing the best care possible. Particular standouts were Nurses Samantha and Jessica, Respiratory Therapist Ronnie, and Dr. Carter. My family will rest more comfortably knowing that such a marvelous facility is this close to the Veteran's Home and that our Daddy will receive excellent care, should he return.
When you can't get to see ur regular Dr you can go to the emergency room ad gets check out there
