I came in yesterday with awful headache, neck pain, fever, not able to open my eyes, abdomin cramps, lower back pain, hips hurting , confused, and very weak. These are all symptons ive suffered from for years other then the fever. I frequent doctors who are awesome but only manage my pain. But this time it was different. Intolerable. I do not remember much about the check in process as my mother handled all of that for me. They got me back pretty quickly. My nurses were great my doctor very thourough. immediately started treating me for meningitis. Got blood work goin . Urine sample in and quickly gave me something for pain. The doctor frequently checked to see of the pain medicine worked . I explained to him that my body was relaxed but my neck and head were no better He immediately ordered a ct scan. All lab work came back negative and suggested we do a spinal tap to make sure it was not meningitis. I was afraid as ive heard spinal taps can be painful but in too much pain to care. My doctor, he didnt hurt me at all. Maybe a little uncomfortable but he talked me through the entire process. I was admitted. The nurses have been nothing but great to me . They have kept my pain level down. Even my head has had a little relief. I cannot remember the ER doctors name or i would mention him. But my Dr. Now is Dr. Patel. He has been so very thourough. We are still waiting on the meningitis results to come back . But after hearing about my history of medical issues and my familys history i could tell his wheels were starting to turn. I have been praying that somehow really soon i would get some kind of answers as to why i suffer from all of these things. And thankfully i am completely confident that i have ended up right where i need to be. Given my background and after talking to his colleagues he is doing test to test me for autoimmune disease/disorder. May be. May not be. But at least i can go forward knowing what is isnt or what it is. I have a long life to live. 3 beautiful children. And a wonderful husband who has watched me lay in bed in agony and supported me through this all. In fact if it wasnt for him i wouldnt be here. He called my mom without me knowing bc he knew i needed help. And im so thankful he did. No matter the outcome or diagnosis I am so very thankful for the treatment i have recieved here at Baptist Tipto . From the nurses and the doctors, the ct scan man, the blood draw lady. simply everyone. Thank you Baptist Tipton for making my stay ver comfortable and i am very eager to find out what my diagnosis is!!!!

How is this place not being investigated and shut down. I have cancer and they told me a year ago its nothing to worry about. Now its to late to do anything and im going to leave my two daughters without a father.

The other reviews are accurate, do not go to this hospital if you on your last breath. I went there and Dr. Tyson was on duty that night, first he was loud, I truly believe he misdiagnose me without a physical, he guess what I had and diagnose me. At this point I am going to get a second opinion from another docror with a physical. Please do not visit this hospital you will be better off going to a hospital in Ms., Ark, Memphis
