Dirty place. Dry blood on the ground and the gown they give you. Unprofessional staff.

Attention: This hospital holds the same rep it did before. Look, to break it down doctors that care are hard to find. Here you won’t find a doctor who cares. All they care about is the money. If I were to recommend a hospital to go to it’d have to be Athens, Gwinnett, or the new one in Braselton. This place is ridiculous. Don’t need to gossip about patients either. Take the advice go somewhere else. You’ll just be wasting your time.

My 11 year old suffered from a head injury during a soccer game & had a seizure in the car when we left. We were very close to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Barrow and went to the ER there. I know it's had a mixed rep in the past, but I cannot say enough about how amazing the staff was. From the receptionist/intake to the nurses, doctors and other staff- we were treated so well. They were efficient, kind, compassionate and professional. They took excellent care of my child and went out of their way to make her comfortable. I'm so grateful for the excellence in care- both medically and personally. We were transferred to CHOA, but I wanted to be sure to express my thanks.

This was our first visit for a knee replacement and I cannot brag enough. Over and over the staff from A-Z kept us informed and moving at a good pace. First the pre-op RN knew her (many) responsibilities like the back of her hand and was witty to boot. The nurse anesthetist was so gentle and they were all kind. You know, nurses are just special. They have such a gift to be caring and compassionate, especially the more seasoned ones. They kept me informed by phone in the waiting room from the beginning of surgery to time to close up the flesh. The surgeon looked like what you would expect; pristine in appearance and confident. As soon as I walked into my husband’s room there was a lady leaving from getting him set up, then came his assigned nurse tech, the lab tech, the X-ray tech, and the head anesthesiologist, then lunch time! Everything you need to assure your comfort and health was at your service. I would sum our visit up with a relaxing atmosphere, skilled professionals, and up to date equipment. My husband has been through a kidney transplant, quin-tuple heart bi-pass with a stent, cataract removal and eye surgery, early life knee operation, and nose surgery in various Georgia hospitals so we are familiar enough to give an honest comparison. This hospital should be the talk of the medical community if they keep this up!

From my first encounter to the last everyone was sssssoooooo polite and friendly. They took care of me and made me feel like I was at home. Amazing nurse staff!
