Barstow Community Hospital

Love this hospital, nice people, super clean, really liked the paging system as I had several procedures done. I called to let them know I was running late and they told me not to worry. Great experience all around. Appreciate the nice nurses and staff for helping me!

My family has been coming to this hospital for many years. I went there on New Years Eve (2018) having a Gall Bladder attack and rang in the New Year with the nurses on staff that night, and had my Gall Bladder out the next day on New Years Day! I was the ONLY person in the OR that day, had the whole place to myself. A surgeon came in just for me! More recently, my mother has had to go there for emergency blood transfusions. Each time, she is seen right away, and they always take good care of her.

After years of going to Saint Mary's and Desert valley I found myself at the Barstow ER for the first time. There was no wait at at all to be seen. Yes a empty waiting room A family member was admitted to the hospital and went up from er to the room in less than 2 hrs to a private room. If your situation can wait for the drive to Barstow you will not regret it

Just had my babygirl there last week and the nurses were nothing but sweet and kind to my family and I. They saved my little baby girl and helped me get through labor. I didn't even want to go home when it was time to go lol.

My daughter broke her ankle while hiking near Barstow. The staff was amazing. There was zero wait in the emergency room. They whisked her right back and took care of every need. She was medicated, x-rayed and splinted in record time. The hospital was CLEAN, not overly crowded, and the staff was absolutely amazing!! I didn't feel like I was even in California the care was so quick, prompt and courteous. GREAT JOB GUYS! Keep up the great work!
