Yesterday i had a level 8 migraine and could barely talk and advocate for myself. I have previously been there before and have always been taken care of. I haven't been in almost 9 months and i regret going now. The front desk was great as usual and the guy who did my blood pressure was friendly and professional as always. Then the doctor came in, he introduced himself i think very abruptly as Tariq Malik, I was in so much pain i couldn't even do anything but nod my head yes or no. I usually get an iv migraine cocktail their when i go but he just said he was going to give me a shot of predisone and toradol? And said it would help with rebound. He never asked me any questions of what helps usually etc. So , long story short, 12 hours later, im still at a level 8 migraine, it never went away. I had to go to another hospital to get it taken care of and spend another 500$ copay. So basically baylor hospital was a waste of time thanks to the doctor on duty. Will never return there

I am In a lot of pain at I get here at 2:45pm and don’t get called back until 3:45pm. And than no one comes in the room until almost 4. Than they come in and do blood work and now still no one has been in the room again.. I have never had this experience at a hospital before!! Going to add more now... I am told to call back around 8-9 from the doctor and I call back at that time and than they tell me to call back around 10 I do so and they still say that my blood work results are still not in... I have never had the experience like I did at this place anywhere else I will never go back to that place again they are the worst place ever. And don’t know how to Communicate with each other. And for me they are not even worth the one star I gave them...

If there was such a thing as 0 stars I would give it that rating. I went to this ER due to hypertension and Cardiac Distress. I chose this facility because it was in my commercial insurance network. Due to my extreme cardiac needs I was taken back into the ER immediately. That is where I was assigned Dr. Alexander Gaidarski who IS NOT IN NETWORK. This facility has physicians that may or may not accept your insurance and they do not tell you who is in network and who isn’t. It should not be the patient’s responsibility to ask if the physician is in network when you are in an extreme EMERGENT situation! Do not go here unless you would like to ask everyone that comes in the room if they are in network. Not to mention this physician is rude, has no bedside manner and did not know how to treat my symptoms. He just wanted to keep doing testing so that he could charge more.

So I received the response written below from supposedly Baylor and of course the web address doesn’t work. So don’t be fooled by thinking that the hospital cares about your expressed concerns or your review.

My three year old son fractured his Clavicle and they had me waiting for more then 40 min in the waiting room! While he was crying/ screaming in pain ! I had to leave to a different ER because my son was falling asleep due to the pain. This is not right!

This place is not for real emergencies. If you have a serious medical issue, please don't stop here. They will have to transfer you to an actual hospital, and then you're responsible for the $500 or more ambulance bill. Save yourself the hassle and extra fee, and go to Texas Health Presbyterian or Medical City in Denton or Baylor in McKinney. They can help with minor issues, but any urgent care can do the same for way less than what this place will charge.
