I can't remember better treatment from a walk in clinic experience. I was seen quickly, total time was under an hour. The nurse was very kind, my doctor and nurse practitioner were extremely thorough and had excellent bedside manner. They covered all possible scenarios and listened to me very carefully. The doctor even offered his personal number should I have any complications throughout the night. My husband and I were very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. I don't often go to the doctor, but I'm happy I found this place for the future. Thank you!

So much has gone wrong the past two years, I've had to call my insurance so I could get a $500+ bill dropped to $90 due to improper filing, the remaining amount being their infamous convenience fees. I got charged $30 on top of my $40 co-payment every time I saw my Endocrinologist; my the last visit the charge went up to $50. All Baylor Scott and White Psychologists and Psychiatrists run on a completely different network not covered by my insurance, but somehow the rest of their specalists are fine? Overall I find it disappointing that quite a few of the Doctors and Nurses have actually been phenomenal, but I simply cannot afford their services.

When I got my bill I was shocked! All I got was a chest X-Ray there with somebody called me back a week later said: You Look Fine. This service I just described costs $300 after insurance!( and I have a pretty good insurance)
When I asked the doctor what I should do about my cough, I felt she was impatient and wanted me to make a decision quickly if I wanna have a referral or not.
Unless you are super rich and don’t care about impatient doctors. if not , don’t go!!!! This is my advice for anyone wants to have a reasonable medical bill and wants to be respected as a patient!

Would love to give 0 stars. My husband has been coming here for a couple of years. Even though an annual physical is supposed to be free through our insurance, this place has been consistently charging bloodwork that is apparently not covered. For this last visit, we specifically told them that we want what is free in our insurance for the annual physical. They assured us that the bloodwork was standard. One month later, we got a bill for $360 because none of the bloodwork was covered. Beware of this place... They will perform tests you don't request. We will NOT be going back.

Woke up with a throat so swollen that my speech was impacted...this location got me in same day. Dr. Patel was thorough and setup a steroid shot right away...both he and the nurse were surprised the Stepp test was negative so they sent off the sample to check for other things...before I left, extra caution was displayed in getting a soft tissue xray as a precaution given things were so swollen and red. The nurse also was very knowledgable and the receptionist and xray tech were very friendly. I'm not sure why this place has such a low rating...maybe things have improved from the past given the docs are new here. 5 stars.

Update: Test for Strepp C came back positive...the alternative Strepps take around 2 days to grow/test...this means it is now Saturday. No phone numbers exist fior any Scott & White clinic and the appointments line basically said I may have to wait 48 hrs. to get the only thing prescribed for Strepp: Penecillin or some derivative. Keep in mind treatment has already been deleayed 2 days. I had to drive to the nearest clinic open on Sat. just to get the most obvious prescription. This is a broken system--not the fault of this clinic--the fault of the owners of the network...I did not appreciate being told by the doc that only imperative results were moved on...treatment for Strepp was imperative for me. I'll delete a star for the system--one emulated everywhere in the U.S. but not anywhere else in the free world.
