Friendly staff when you have no need of their services. Dragging their feet seems to be the best past time here apart from determination to look right past you. Getting some ice for a probable / definitive concussion, from the ER front desk staff seems quite the accomplishment. I generously give two stars bc in the entirety of our experience, the intake nurse was very polite and patiently helped us. The rest of the staff could seem to care less about anything and everything. I recommend prior to waking through the ER doors, slashing a wrist and producing a life threatening condition; maybe, then, you will be treated in a timely fashion?

This hospital should have 20 stars. Just when I had lost faith in humanity from being neglected and misdiagnosed at Navarro Regional, my faith was restored since coming to Baylor. They didn't treat me like garbage since I currently don't have insurance and the staff (at least 15-20) that I've met have been the most patient, gracious, informative and caring staff. I've never been treated so nice by complete strangers. They figured out what was wrong with me and didn't give up. They have treated me with such kindness and are so optimistic. Great environment. Clean, and if you stay the night like me, you almost forget for a second that you're in the hospital. No joke! I will forever be grateful to these people. They deserve medals for putting up with all these ungrateful folks.

The food is absolutely HORRIBLE! I have never in my life had food this disgusting. I thought it was one bad weekend but this is every time I come to this hospital for personal or business reasons. I hope the weekday is at least 10 percent better, at least it might be edible. I cannot believe a hospital would serve food that is absolutely disgusting and old. No kidding, eating gravel would be softer and likely taste better!!! The rice will break your teeth. They are going to give someone food poisoning. It is a hassle to leave the hospital to get food. I can use this valuable time to stay with my mom.

And NO, Baylor I will not copy and paste my review to another website, then you address the issue. This is why your reviews are horrible. A review should give you momentum enough to work on the problem.

This emergency room was ridiculous! The staff is sooooo RUDE! When you arrive to a medical center or emergency room you want to at least feel some kind of comfort. But the lady's at the counter were the rudest people I've ever seen. Like if they hated their jobs. Nobody smiled nobody talked with any sort of respect or kindness. It was such a mess. And the EMT nurse was so rude as well when they had to transfer my neice to a different hospital. NEVER coming back here again. This place was so ridiculous. A hospital should have their nurses and staff treat people with smiles and kindness and urgency .

Last Friday night, I waited in the ER in so much pain for over 5 hours! The staff took their time and seemed very unconcerned about updating anyone on anything. The nurse practitioner is the only reason I will give this place one star. At least she apologized for the long wait and tried to get me some relief for my pain. Then hours later, the rude nurse Tyler Dixon walks in. He didn't introduce himself after shift change, but begin to tell me it was time for me to be discharged. After I mentioned to him the pain I was in, he responded rudely, " well it look like you were sleeping just fine when I walked in".I guess he doesn't realize you can actually doze off when you are given strong pain medicine. but it doesn't mean you are okay. He needs more training on how to deal with human beings and showing compassion in this line of work. Very disappointed in this negative experience with this hospital!
