I went to the Walk-In Clinic on Friday 10/11/19 around 3 pm because my ankle was so sore I couldn’t walk on it. It was a very busy afternoon, and I believe there was only 1 provider at the clinic. I’m a retired RN and my last position before I retired was as an Infection Control RN. I noticed excellent Infection Control practices, such as bleach washings of wheelchairs (allowing air drying) and stations for masks, gloves, etc. for people with respiratory infections. Connie was the RMA, and she was excellent in her instructions and in everything she did for me. Michelle was my provider. She explained everything perfectly and devised a plan of care for my problem that took into account my many health issues. They both were very professional, but pleasant. I was very grateful for such good care, especially considering how busy it was. I lived for 31 years in a city of 350,000 people and went to an Urgent Care at a very large facility, but I never received the great level of care there that I received at ThedaCare Berlin’s Walk-In clinic.

Incredible hospital staff caring & support. Dr Hein is amazingly skilled and patient oriented.

My foster sibling had a stye in his eye and we needed to have a doctor quick look at it to see what was going on. We just recently got the boys about a week ago at the time and didn’t have any birthdays or anything. So we had to sit there and wait for the mother to respond with their birthdays and meanwhile the nurses were VERY rude. They treated us absolutely horrible and showed lots of disrespect. They made it seem like our situation wasn’t an emergency and YES it probably wasn’t, we just wanted to know what was going on with his eye. The rest of the 4 hours that we were there they treated us like we kidnapped these children and they had a police man walking past the waiting room every 2 minutes.❌ PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! ❌

Although most of the doctors are very competent, the nursing staff and other care providers are a huge hit or miss. If I had to hear one more time “you’re fine” I could have screamed. Obviously I’m admitted to the hospital because I’m sick not fine. Very condescending and rude. It seemed to me that the main concern was how fast they could discharge you. I will definitely be looking for other options in healthcare in the future.

I am giving the wonderful nursing staff on the ob floor 5 stars. I recently was discharged and can't stress how wonderful ALL the nurses were. You made me feel comfortable along with the entire crew that came for support nothing but welcomed to be there. I can't thank you enough for the wonderful experience you gave myself and my family. I leave feeling amazing. Thank you to Dr. Budde as well and his crew for allowing me to follow threw on my birth plan. Would recommend anyone to experience what I experienced with this great group. Thank you again guys.
