Bluegrass Community Hospital

This hospital has no business being open, the building looks like it needs to be condemned and the equipment is literally from the 80's or 90's. I brought my mother out here after she had been vomiting all night with stomach pain, we registered and got called back then the nurse took her vitals, it took over 40 minutes for the staff of an EMPTY emergency room to get fluids and medicine in her because they were busy chatting and they couldn't find a vein so they stuck her multiple times before finding a vein in her hand. The doctor finally came in and started talking to my mother in a condescending tone like she had purposely done something to cause this, and said she likely had food poisoning from eating out the night before and sent her home. She started vomiting again not even 3 hours after she had been released from the hospital so my husband took her to Central Baptist in Lexington and they said she had a stomach ulcer, Bluegrass Community Hospital completely misdiagnosed her!!!. It boggles my mind how this place is even allowed to operate legally, Versailles needs to invest in a modern hospital with up-to-date equipment and educated medical personnel that know what they're doing. If you're dying go to Central Baptist or one of the many capable hospitals in Lexington, this is a band-aid station at best.

Awful place! had a miscarriage went there since i was in a panic, doc was awful no bed side manner, told me and my boyfriend that i was not a "concern" unless i was 12weeks along and that it was not a baby sitting there in the chair like it was just another day. the Lab tech there drew my blood and did everything wrong including taking off the tip of his glove to sick me ( im a phleb ) . in fact i was 11weeks and we already had our first appt and can see a heart beat, so if you can tell me that not a baby then idk what is? now i will say the nurse and the front desk lady that was there were amazing gave me prayers and plenty of hugs. never would recommend anyone to go there!!
