feedback about Bluffton Regional Medical Center
Fell on the ice. Came in for an X-ray on my ribs, and hip. Instead I got a tetanus shot, lots of bloodwork, an IV, a CT, a CT with contrast. I was in a lot of pain, they said I was fine and rushed me out the door. With no X-ray. I found out later I actually had fractured ribs. A very pathetic band aid station at best.
Terrible hospital. Heard nothing but bad things the last 15 years living in bluffton and it’s a small town. People talk. Called to get my 8 year old boy appointment for some simple antibiotics for a winter cough. Sorry no open spots. What the hell happened to health care in America. Thanks Obama
The staff is tired and always hostile. The building is run down and the parking lot is decaying. I wouldnt risk using this hospital for any type of emergency, but for check ups only.
Pro: Nurses are very nice and calming. Greeting us with care as soon as we walked in.
Con: My husband had to go to the ER and the doctor who on duty was super short to us and also rude. He didn’t explain why my husband was feeling the way he was. My husband came to the hospital in very much pain and left with more pain.
I’m very upset with this place. I’ve also came with issues with myself as well in the past and other family members did as well.
My loved one was in pain and it hurt me because they didn’t even try to figure out what was wrong with him, they just sent him home with nothing and no treatment.
THE PLUS SIDE: We went to parkview hospital in Fort Wayne and they helped us. They finally helped us figure out what was going on with my husband. I’m a relieved wife. He got sent home with a diagnosis and also treatment.
I just got informed from a receptionist for Doctor Volpi over the phone that I got a Illness so they can "quickly" transfer me to a doctor called Rao in Fort Wayne talk about unprofessionalism. And now i'm getting charged for a bill my insurance should have taken care of since I payed my copay..Its starting to look like this is failing hospital.
