This is a hospital that has some of the most inexperienced, rudest and uncaring medical rejects (not professionals) I have ever tried to deal with. Is there a shortage of good people there? They don't want to help anybody. Just call and ask a simple question. They will transfer you to an answering machine, hang up on you or just want help at all
I have dealt with vets that care more. Ask them who the administrator is and see what happens. Just a damn shame.

Part 1- Long story made short!!!

Week 1- 7 Started with Take me to Ruleville! Foot & leg problems. 3 doctor visits, 2 foot specialist, 3 X-rays, 3 steroid packs and 1 MRI later, no results. Still in pain and cant walk so I make appointment to see Dr Hadley at Cleveland Medical.

WEEK 8- Dr. Hadley walks in room and says Ms. Johnson, tell me what's going on with your leg. I told him the whole story. He said " Let me take a look". I took protective boot off my foot, he raised both pant legs and said " I'm gonna schedule u for an ultrasound tomorrow morning. I think u have a blood clot. Next day, ultrasound revealed blood clot that extended from the back of knee area all the way up to the hip/ butt area. I was sent to BOLIVAR MEDICAL for treatment.

Long story But Please Please READ!

"STOP ME BY BOLIVAR"
I arrived at Bolivar Medical, Wednesday, Nov 14, 2018 around 1:30 pm. I was greeted outside ER with a wheelchair, a Big Smile & friendly conversation. Got to ER admission window and the two young ladies there were friendly & professional. They had jokes and friendly conversation that eased a lot of my worries. Then I was taken to my room by a very friendly transport person. When I got to the 3rd floor, I was greeted with smiles and the transport person pushing the wheelchair even took the time to stop me by a room and allowed me to speak to an old friend for a few minutes that was hospitalized there. Once in my room, EVERYONE that entered room 341 treated me like I was THEIR FAMILY MEMBER. The nurses, nurse aides, cleaning staff, lab techs, cafeteria staff, nurse managers, dietitians, directors, doctor and transport people. I mean EVERYONE. When I was nervous, they offered to hold my hand. When I told one of the directors that I only drink Smart Water and then threw a funny like kid tantrum for the water, she went to the store and bought me smart water and my aunt spring water!! Really!!! Every question I had, and there were many... they answered with a smile and if they didn't know, they would call in someone that could or would find out the answer even if it meant contacting my doctor. The dietitians went out of their way to meet my needs and one even took time to gather information about some foods I had been misinformed about with my food allergies. When I went for testing in the radioactive dept, I was kind of scared but once I got in there and the doors closed, it was like chilling with my friends. They made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. The ladies in x ray took care of my every need with a sincere smile. The transport guy made me feel like I was cruising in a limo. And check this out, they had to draw blood almost every 2 hours so you know I wasn't happy to see the lab techs but they were so cool that I couldn't even curse them out like I had planned. They stuck me but they all made me feel ok about them inflicting pain on me. I'm telling y'all...If I EVER GET SICK AGAIN, " I'm Headed to Hadly", " Stopping By Bolivar"" and " Im Staying on the 3rd floor" !! That's my NEW Recovery Plan. I TRULY APPRECIATE & LOVE MY CARE TEAM at Dr Hadley's office & Bolivar Medical !!!!! Words canNot express my true level of gratitude for all that they did for me. Tears come to my eyes when I think of how they All cared for and gave me the Royal Treatment and my family. My parents are maturer and normally I take care of them. Mom has had a stoke also. So this was a little stressful for them. The staff made sure they were comfortable. They made sure they understood what was going on with my health and answered their questions and assured them that I was ok and being cared for by the best. They really gave them peace of mind and for that, I'm FOREVER GRATEFUL!!

PS...As WEEK 8 comes to an end, I'm ecstatic to report... Pain 90% GONE. Walking with very little discomfort. Love Love Love Dr Hadley & his dynamic team at the clinic & 3rd Floor Staff at Bolivar Medical Hospital. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have been a patient twice for a week at a time both times on Med surge floor and couldn’t have been treated any better from all the staff. Staff in ER, Radiology, registration, lab to doctors and nurses on the floor were all top notch

I came to stay here with my sister Heather Gant ended up she tried taking care of me I needed it though God bless her
