I've been admitted for 3 days now. I haven't had any information on what's going on about me and the nurses are extremely rude. They won't let me stretch my legs and leave the floor. I can't even go sit outside and get fresh air. They aren't using my iv port to draw blood , so I've been stuck 5 times now. I'm ready to sign myself the hell out of here.

The PT department and the nurses on second floor were very helpful and very nice. Dr Panucci was very helpful.

ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!! They need to advertise they are a weekday 8 to 5 hospital. They let my brother lay in ICU for two days (Saturday and Sunday) and almost die before they finally on our demand sent him to AGH on Monday, where they are desperately trying to save his life. Shameful to call that place a hospital. Although to their credit my brother had a couple of awesome nurses that did all they could without Dr orders to help.( I will give credit where it's deserved)

Canonsburg Hospital along with Allegheny Heath Network in general are probably the worst, most disorganized organizations I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Every doctor I’ve been in contact with has given me bad information, none of the equipment ever works, testing and other appointments are constantly being cancelled on their end, very last minute, mind you. If you have a serious issue, go somewhere else. You’d be dead if you waited for anyone within the Allegheny Health Network to assist you.

I took my 6 yr old son to the ER and a man was there to triage him. Upon taking his temperature it was 98.8. Normal I said I can feel the heat radiating off him. I said that’s can’t be right. Rudely the Er nurse said while I’ll give him a rectal temp then. I’m a nurse I told him I know it’s the most accurate not the most appropriate. I said can you just retake it or use another thermometer? He never re did the temp we went into the back to the er room. When the doctor told me that temp doesn’t matter and he was shaking because of the fever and it’s normal for kids to have seizures when they have a fever. Which I retook his temp once we got into the room it was 102.8. He tested him for strep Which he didn’t get into the back of his throat with the swab I saw!!!!! Which came back neg duh .They gave him a popsicle and sent us home. The next day I took him to urgent care. It came back positive for strep. Awful experience. Canonsburg hospital is awful shame on them.
