If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. I have a friend this young woman and her father live in the state of Washington and this is the only hospital in reach in case of emergency. Her father suffers horribly with epilepsy he’s on all kinds of medication for it but it’s not enough because he keeps getting worse. He suffers from numerous seizures a day. He’s constantly vomiting his medication which results in him having to come and attempt to seek help from this awful hospital. This man and his daughter have been kicked out one to many times for no validated reason They have kicked him out without receiving any medical attention ,without seeing a doctor ,or even a specialist. They’ve kicked this man out numerous times without even being able to finish his IV. Take note that he has medical insurance But they refuse to treat him without invalidated reason now we are under the impression that maybe it has something to do with race which is totally irrelevant this father and his daughter are of Korean decent. He’s a single father with 5 children that his eldest teenage daughter is responsible for. This is unacceptable. More action will be taken for this injustice and violation to basic human rights.

I cannot day enough about the staff or the facility. Everybody was nice and very supportive. We just had our first child there and the experience was great! The doctors were very supportive and straight forward about my situation and handled it with care. The nurses were there for me every time I called, they helped with my baby a lot and I am very happu and satisfied about my experience there. I will definitely deliver all my babies there! I highly highly recommend it :)

My husband and I just had our first baby here and the staff was absolutely amazing & continue to be amazing even afterwards! In l&d our day nurse was Nikki and she was very understanding and was more than happy to answer the billion questions we had about taking care of our first baby. Sheila, the lactation consultant, has helped us after our daughter was born on our breastfeeding journey and I'm pretty sure shes the only reason I havent quit and switched to formula yet. Shes more than happy to take our calls and offer advice or referrals. Melinda harris has also been very helpful with our breastfeeding journey. Overall, the staff is amazing & I will be referring everyone who is having a baby to this hospital

I'm not one to complain, nor do I experience a lot of bad interactions. I would say that I don't use the emergency room often but over the last five years I've been to Capital Medical Center 3 times. The first two times that I went maybe a couple of years ago everyone from the staff that greeted me when I walk through the door to the nurses and the doctors were amazing! My recent visit to the ER this last past couple of months it was horrendous! I didn't recognize any of the staff from the prior years it seemed like everyone from the nurses to the people that were greeting me had a attitude it wasn't a pleasant place not very clean. I was extremely disappointed and I had a half of mine too complain right then and there to the upper management but then I overheard the nursing staff talking about how bad the emergency room has gotten over the last couple of years so I figured that my complain wouldn't have made a difference. It's really sad to know that there is no one that I recognize in the emergency room anymore and that the morale has dropped dramatically from the doctors to the nurses. You can hear a lot in the ER and the fact that it sounds like the reason why I got horrible service that day was because of how the staff themselves were being treated. It may have been unprofessional for me to overhear this conversation but at the same time I understand why they are the way that they are no hard feelings towards the staff that I had for that day because from the sounds of it, they had no other options. I would just like to add that that was the worst service that I've had the three times that I visited at Capital Medical Center and I would not recommend anyone to use that emergency room until something changes dramatically weather that be getting people that actually want to work with good personality or from the Staffing point of view finding someone that can run the ER and treat staff better! For the time being my further referrals will be to St Peter's Providence Hospital located down the street! Sorry for the negative feedback Capital has not always been this horrible but it's the truth and something needs to change! I definitely would not feel safe sending my elderly mother or grandmother to this hospital and expect for her to receive great care.

As a personal experience, I do believe that this place was helpful.

They gave me answers to my questions and someone who understands some things I am going through. She gave me very helpful advice in getting help for my symptoms and finding a specialist. They gave me resources to get help with a specialist as well since they did not have one on call.

The wait was nothing and they made sure to get all my medical history. This was my first time here and they made sure I was taken care of and all questions were answered. Room I was in was clean but I was sharing with other people with screens.
