I am a retired RN and had to stop working because of my health issues. I researched medical websites for information regarding hospital safety reviews, etc. I also needed a Internal Medicine physican to take care of me in Tallahassee....my medical care had always been consistent and routine for a 60 yr. old female, until it wasn't.

My experiences with Capital Medical Group have been excellent. The office staff and facilities are very professional. My doctor is patient, listens to me and has medically improved my health!

Went to ER for constantly staying sick. Been 2 2 drs and 1 other hospital in a month time . Instead of trying to determine with proper tests for the underlying cause, they gave me more prescriptions. Which how do you know is good to take if you don't know the exact issue. Felt as though more questions should have been asked. Not enough physical exam done.

Over the course of three days in this hospital I was impressed with every single member of the staff that I encountered. My surgeon, the nurses, the technicians, even the janitorial staff; all of them were competant and friendly. I hate hospitals and all things "medical", but my experience at Capital Regional was, dare I say, enjoyable. Thanks

Went in yesterday (10/1/18) for a fall I had on 9/30/18 and the visit started off fine. Once I got placed in a room in the ER section, it went downhill. First, let me just say the nurse (I think her name was Michelle) who took me back to get my X-rays done was AMAZING! She was extremely nice and caring--unfortunately, she was the only one. Dr. Lashkim was completely RUDE! My left foot was injured and I told him I could not wiggle my last 3 toes. Before even looking at the X-rays, he was insinuating that I was lying about my injury saying I had been injured way longer than 2 days when in fact I had not. I also asked him when should I get feeling back in my 3 toes because I can't wiggle and said "You can wiggle your toes, you're just choosing not too". EXCUSE ME?! I had to physically show him I could not wiggle my toes not matter how hard I tried. Yet and still he walked out and ordered a fellow nurse to just wrapped my foot--which I could've done myself since I came in with my foot wrapped originally (what a waste of time). He also told them to give me this soft boot without instructions on how to care for it. I asked the discharge nurse AND the male nurse who wrapped my foot how long would it take for my injury to heal and be able to move my toes and they both said "We do not know--the doctor just told us to come in here, wrap your foot, and send you on your way". This is completely unacceptable as I work in healthcare myself, have 3 friends and family that are ARNPs, 1 family member who is a chiropractor and a slew of nurses as family and friends and they all were in disbelief after I told them about what happened yesterday. I have never had a bad experience with this hospital, but yesterday completely turned me off from ever coming here again. You all have officially lost a patient. Please take heed and practice better customer service for the next patient.

Dr Jose Santana was hands down one of the best physicians I have had. I have Lymphoma and stay in pain this is the first time in a long time that my pain is tolerable. Thank you Capital Regional for being on top of your game and for getting me out of pain, I could never thank you guys enough. I almost forgot the best part.. there was NO wait time I mean none! Thank you again Dr. Santana
