Went in yesterday (10/1/18) for a fall I had on 9/30/18 and the visit started off fine. Once I got placed in a room in the ER section, it went downhill. First, let me just say the nurse (I think her name was Michelle) who took me back to get my X-rays done was AMAZING! She was extremely nice and caring--unfortunately, she was the only one. Dr. Lashkim was completely RUDE! My left foot was injured and I told him I could not wiggle my last 3 toes. Before even looking at the X-rays, he was insinuating that I was lying about my injury saying I had been injured way longer than 2 days when in fact I had not. I also asked him when should I get feeling back in my 3 toes because I can't wiggle and said "You can wiggle your toes, you're just choosing not too". EXCUSE ME?! I had to physically show him I could not wiggle my toes not matter how hard I tried. Yet and still he walked out and ordered a fellow nurse to just wrapped my foot--which I could've done myself since I came in with my foot wrapped originally (what a waste of time). He also told them to give me this soft boot without instructions on how to care for it. I asked the discharge nurse AND the male nurse who wrapped my foot how long would it take for my injury to heal and be able to move my toes and they both said "We do not know--the doctor just told us to come in here, wrap your foot, and send you on your way". This is completely unacceptable as I work in healthcare myself, have 3 friends and family that are ARNPs, 1 family member who is a chiropractor and a slew of nurses as family and friends and they all were in disbelief after I told them about what happened yesterday. I have never had a bad experience with this hospital, but yesterday completely turned me off from ever coming here again. You all have officially lost a patient. Please take heed and practice better customer service for the next patient.
