Carilion Giles Community Hospital

The compassion and care for my 97 year old father by the Emergency Department and Special Care Unit far exceeded our expectations. The doctors and staff were professional, caring and very compassionate to my father and our family in the closing hours of his life. We will always be grateful to everyone there for their professional care.

The care from the physicians and the nursing staff can not be beat!! They were excellent to me and my husband. He stayed the entire time and they was so generous giving him a comfy chair and blankets. I’ve been sick a lot but and I think I must say this has been one of the best hospitals I have ever been to. Thank you to All of the staff that provided my care!

One particular doctor is very judgemental, uncompassionate, rude and unprofessional! DON'T TAKE YOUR DOG THERE!!

It seems the level of care you receive from some physicians here has decreased recently. Out if 3 dr's, 1 of them was really good!
