Zero stars if I could. Negative stars honestly.

They put my girlfriend in a Psychiatric Ward when she did NOT belong in there at all! They put her in restraints and left her there all night, even after they said they’d take them off of her, they never did. They didn’t allow anyone to visit her, and she was not informed of what was going on. They also sedated her without her consent after she had had a panic attack from what they did to her. Terrible place. Do NOT trust these people.

I wouldn't advise anyone to go here unless it's unavoidable. The staff seem incompetent and most of the time they are very rude and wrapped up in their own personal issues. The doctors don't seem to listen to what you have to say and after keeping you there for at least 8 hours and running expensive test after test, they still never seem to have any answers. It is rare that you will get a nice, caring doctor here. I went there most of my life but I have given up on this hospital, it isn't getting better, just worse. I recommend going to CMC in University, it might be further away but it is worth it to be treated like an actual patient, and be heard and treated accordingly.

The horror stories that I have heard from there are more than I can bear. I have they have nothing but interns there and you can’t your own doctor. Who wants to see someone who does not know them. They let my friend lay there for 3 days with a 99% blockage in her neck and did NOT even give her any blood thin for THREE days What the heck? What’s in the name of fudge are you guys doing down there. My sister’s husband is there now and his doctor can’t come and see him. WhY NOT? That’s his doctor and been his doctor for years and years. He knows this man inside and out. I do NOT want to go there. My husband was there and they never gave him his medicine. I had to go home and get it for him. They did not offer him a wash cloth, a towel, or anything. Two years later I am there and I take my own medicine and they tell me I can’t do that. Well, if you aren’t going to give me my medicine I need to bring my own. Then they tell me I am a perfect candidate for back surgery. OK, bring it on. I’m still waiting. Who are these people that are working in this hospital? I believe the nurses work their hearts out and I know they can only give you and do what they are told but who is telling them.

Worst hospital & staff ever! Yet, again I go with chest pains, nausea, left arm and jaw pain, high bp & dizziness. After triage & an extremely painful attempt to insert a catheter into my arm, my husband & I spent over 6 hours waiting. After getting into a room they told me that they didn't think it was my heart due to the test results, however they wanted me to stay and get a heart cath! This has been happening for over 3 years when is someone going to figure out what is going on?! Not this hospital. They only care about the $$.

I got to the emergency room around midnight with my 8 month old due to a fever. The emergency room was full of people. They called us back to triage where they took his vitals and temperature. He’s temperature was still 103 and his heart rate was high. They didn’t want to give him any medicine because I had given him Tylenol at home before we left. We waited 2 hours in the waiting room before they called us back to triage where they gave him Ibuprofen and Zofran. Then we went back to the waiting area again. After an hour or so they called us back to a room and we waited there for another hour without seeing anyone besides registration. When the physician came in he checked his ears and lungs and when everything looked fine. Some time later a nurse came in and rechecked his vitals and temperature and everything was looking good. No one did bloodwork to see if there was any infection. After that no one came back in to the room to let us know if we were ok to go or not. At this point it’s almost 5am and my son is getting irritable so I walk out of the room to leave when a worker caught up to me to give me my discharge paper. All in all, my experience there was horrible. I’m a first time mom and this is the first time my son has ever had a fever that high and all they did was make us sit around for 5 hours and wait for it to go down, which I could’ve done at home. There was no communication from the staff members. I would’ve thought that a fever of 103 would be a sign of a serious infection and they could’ve done more tests to try to and see exactly where the fever was coming from. It is now 9am and my son is fussy and feels warm and I still have no clue what is wrong with him. I will not be back to that facility, by choice. Period. Thanks for taking the time to read my review, I hope you have a better experience than we did. God bless.
