I am a 20+ year honorably discharged US Marine Corps Veteran and former employee of the US Veterans administration. I have been all over the country and have obtain services at 6 different VA facilities and several civilian hospitals around the country. This is the most efficiently run care providing operation I have ever seen in 54 years. Top notch, compassionate, respectful, meticulous, professional, OUTSTANDING! The difference between excellent and outstanding is that not only are the complying with the letter of the law and exceeding average expectations they are setting the example for others to follow. Bravo! I am going to write a letter to this hospitals Director/Head Honcho and mention those people individuals directly because they deserve recognition. From the guy who checked me into the ER to the nurses, orderlies, etc, everyone I met was the consummate professional lady/gentleman. I am grateful for this organization and it’s staff for taking care of something that I have attempted to get resolved through the US Veterans administration for years and have been obstructed, abused, threatened and patronized at every turn. I am proud to have served my country for over 20 years because I love the land and I love it’s people, all of them. It’s all about care and wellness here. The Veterans Administration is only about power and control.

Your staff has been nothing short of amazing. The compassion and sensitivity we have been shown is truly top notch. I would like to personally thank everyone here, but for the ones I miss, this is for you.

We are so grateful for the care we received at the ER at Central Washington Hospital. While on vacation in the area, my 2 year old became very ill, despondent, and throwing up blood. Forgive me as I didn’t catch their names. But the intake nurse was very sweet, as was the nurse once we were in a room. They both did a great job of truly engaging my daughter, not just me or my husband. The nurse, got her stickers and cups and when he spoke with her, he waited for her response which brought her out of her shell. Even the ultrasound technician did a great job with her so she wasn’t scared. What could have been a very difficult visit was actually very wonderful. The doctor was very nice too, but we didn’t see him as much. Thank you to all of the staff!

The worst food EVER! Was a patient there a couple years ago, and the entire experience was awful. And a sandwich on the weekend? I need surgery again in the near future so I HOPE the menu is better by now. Also, my wife ordered mashed potatoes when she was in the cafeteria, and they came cold and lumpy. And no, they sure were not free. The care was excellent, however.

Great care for my loved ones. Can't say enough good things about the quality and professional manner of staff. Thank you.
