The New Birth Unit is clean and the rooms are amazing! With that said my experience with the nursing staff was terrible! My delivery nurse was so unprofessional. As I was pushing she was fixing her hair and blowing bubbles with her gum... no joke. She would remove her hair tie and a little while later put it back in. She’d say you have a contraction coming grab your leg as she fluffed her hair and chomped her gum! I wanted to kick her out so bad. Also my husband and I didn’t find out the gender of our child. Once my son was born one of the other nurses yelled to the nurse desk while walking down the hall “room 2209 is a BOY”...as my family is sitting right across from the desk. So my husband or I didn’t even get to share our big news with the ones we love. I am grateful my son was delivered healthy and happy. The nurse staff needs further training and a reality check on professionalism.
The staff here was amazing. During a time of high stress, all members of Avista were every kind and helpful. They gave us space when we needed but were attentive and provided excellent care. I was very impressed. The only downside is there is nobody to greet and direct you past 6pm. You have to go to the ER Check-in desk. Overall, good place.
My son was born prematurely, so he had to stay in their NICU for a few weeks. The staff was so awesome and helpful. My delivery doctor was very informative and supportive. The cafeteria served really good food. And the delivery rooms were spacious and clean.
Awesome service and followup. Their staff is top notch. Facilities are clean and with the latest and greatest equipment. I'd give them 6 stars out of 5 if I could.
RUN RUN RUN.. I’d u have Condition other than the flu!
This is a hospital without real experiences. I have work in the field and with what I’ve seen in this hospital, never ever ever would like open the door again! They’re horrible,inExperienced, and incompetent! Unaccomplished doctors are here :(
It’s unfortunate - and I wouldn’t send an enemy here. CU hospitals if your really ill
