feedback about Chatuge Regional Hospital
I brought my husband to the emergency room where Dr. mulberry was the attending doctor. My husband was there with severe nausea and vomiting from a rare disease called cyclic vomiting syndrome and wanted some much needed relief. Dr. Mulberry told him there was nothing he could do for him and to go home and take the meds he was given to take daily from his primary doctor.( Obviously they weren’t working at this time or we wouldn’t have wasted a trip here.) He made my husband feel like he was being judged by his looks (tattoos) and made to feel like he was a drug seeker. He left crying and just as sick as when he arrived. Chatuge has some great doctors but wouldn’t go to e.r if Dr. Mulberry is the attending doctor.
The shame of this hospital is that its gotten worse since Union General took over. I have been trying for 6 weeks to rectify a billing mistake they made and after you're referred to the person in charge,,,you can't get a call back. No one answers their phone, and no one returns your call no matter how many messages you leave. Pitiful! I bet their rating would be even lower if you could leave 0 stars.
The most unprofessional hospital needs to be shut down! Will be filing a complaint with Georgia Composite Medical Board!
Wow!!!! Truly, If you value the life of your loved one, just move on to the next town, city, or even state if time allows, because if you have ANY life or death emergency in Hayesville, you are FAR better off wasting the extra 15 mins and heading to Murphy than admitting a loved one to Chatuge in Hiawassee and possibly wasting their life instead. Yeah, it was THAT bad.. in fact even if you live in Hiawassee, I would STILL make the trip to the next closest hospital!
What took place during my 6 hour long stay “seeking”, provided it never was, emergency medical treatment for my wife of 15 years at the Chatuge Emergency Room “Hotel Of Horrors” left me with such a shockingly indisputable impression that its vividly melted into my memory and nothing could ever remove it..
Which is that around 7:00 pm Sunday night, Dec 2nd, 2018 until roughly Monday morning 3am, the ER had been commandeered and was being run by an aimless pack of brainless amoebas, impersonating actual medical professionals. That my wife was being treated by a doctor and staff masquerading around as trusted, experienced individuals that were in reality, completely void of ANY sign of intellect other than the rarely displayed ability to form certain syllables.
That the ER had been transformed into a proverbial Three Ring Circus, made up solely by a rogue troop of mean clowns with BOZO, the head clown himself, Dr. Rodney Moore running the “BIG SHOW”
I will be unable to actually describe in detail any of the specific events that took place at the Big Top that night for a couple reasons. One is obvious and for privacy. But the other is much simpler. You see most complaints or bad reviews are only about one or two things and being specific and giving details is an easy task.
But for my visitation, this incorrectly signed funeral home was being touted and billed as a life-saving facility and was an experience like NO other and this hospital made SO many errors, SO many mistakes, broke SO many state laws, broke SO many federal laws, ignored SO many of its own policies, there is no way to cover six straight hours of screw ups in a review!
And that’s without even touching my wife who is legally handicapped and the SHEER amount of discrimination laws that were broken alone and on their own accord that night would fill many blank pages of a book as well.
But what everyone NEEDS to know about this is this. This hospital is for all of us, mine, yours, everyone’s and if it can happen to my wife, than it can happen to each and everyone of you as well.
And don’t think or believe for a split second that Dr. Rodney “Bozo The Clown” Moore won’t TELL your loved one to walk out the door after 6 straight hours of misdiagnosis AND an obvious cluelessness as to what her condition was, ONLY to say it was a life-threatening condition!
Went in due not being able to breathe from a severe anxiety attack and pain in my diaphragm. ER doctor refused to listen to me when I told him my diaphragm was hurting and tried to keep me overnight and run tests for a heart attack. I was made to wait in a room for 45 minutes before he even saw me. Then get a bill for almost $2,000 when they didn't even treat me for what was happening.
