Zero stars should definitely be an option for this place .... brought my grandmother to the hospital where she stayed for 2 days and never even saw a doctor... instead she spoke to a Dr. In Tennessee over a computer screen it was ridiculous. I have had problems with them in the past and definitely won't be returning.

The hospital is beautiful. They put so much money into the couldn’t hire a reliable doctor apparently.

I was injured by a horse with a blow to the mid-calf. Dr. Alchamali had an x-ray taken of the mid calf where the impact occurred, and said nothing was broken, and just had a couple hematomas. He then forcibly flexed my knee and ankle back and forth. That hurt so bad I could not breath! He put me in a neoprene leg brace and gave me axilla crutches that I told him I could not use. I was being treated for a painful underarm lump and would need forearm crutches. He ignored my request for different crutches. The nurse gave me my discharge instructions and said to return to the ER if I had any numbness, tingling, or if my foot was turning purple. I told him I had all three and that is why I came in. He shrugged off my comment and said well if it gets worse. I told him it has gotten worse sense I walked in the door. He ignored that and went on to read the rest of the discharge instructions. I went to see my GP the next day who immanently sent me in for a CT. I have 3 torn ligaments and the head of my tibial bone is broken off. Surgery next week.

They don't care here, you might as well diagnose yourself, get proof and do your own research, go somewhere else. I've had problems here in the past. Once my toddler was very sick, and couldn't hold anything down and it went on for days so it didn't seem like the flu with no headache or fever. I told them here we had just returned from the mountains where she did swallow some lake water and I was wanting them to make sure it wasn't an intestinal parasite such as Giardia, they refused to check and insisted that it had to be the flu, even without testing her for it. Well, I knew better and collected a stool sample from her and took it in, they did test it and it WAS Giardia so we finally got her the proper meds she needed. Another time one of my children was going to be seen and they said they didn't know if they accepted our insurance anymore, then she came back and said you're good, we do accept it. Then they saw my child, got a bill and they told me it's because they take our insurance anymore. So we're stuck with it, even though we were lied to. Recently I've had trouble here getting them to look into anything. I'm unable to share details at the moment, but they basically said it wasn't a possibility, but 5 tests proved them wrong. I won't be going here anymore...ever! I wish we had more options closer by, but I'll drive the extra 40 minutes to go to unmc where the real health professionals are, who have never failed me.
