If you have an Emergency, this is probably not the place to go. There is no sense of urgency. Long waits! You don’t get updates on what is going on. 6 hours and counting. People been here for over 18 hours. There needs to be a metric to hold these people accountable maybe a screen with a timer like McDonald’s. Have some empathy for the sick people in pain and waiting!
I had a serious complaint against a member of the staff. I went online & submitted the complaint. On the first business day , I recieved a call from someone who pulled the security tapes & evaluated the entire scene that took place.
I highly recommend using this means to pose a complaint. The lady I worked with was very eager to find resolution & was very persistent.
She ensured me that staff rudeness was very unacceptable, and she took effective measures to investigate the case.
Was there 1/30/2019 @2:30pm, Whitney Cline FNP never moved from her sit,I never saw a Dr to explain anything, everything is done by the nurses, some of them are OK. On my CT scan orders she stated I fell, something I didn't say, so of course I had NO FRACTURE, thu!!!! Went for a bulging disc, something the scan proved, but then the wording from whom read states "demonstrates findings SUGGESTIVE of central DISC BULGE",minimiz the issue, like that they can take as long as they like to refer you to a neurosurgeon, as if I don't have that problem, no wonder you guys have such low reviews! Most staff lacks empathy, care, HEART! I truly wonder if is actually ran by nuns!
They're spending so much money on making it something pretty to look at because the inside is filled with the ugliest people who have no business w their career choices. They are understaffed, rude , and should be ashamed to call themselves a hospital
My name is Nancy and approximately 6 days ago I was admitted to this facility for the treatment of acute cellulitis. I was admitted to the 6th floor and I have been treated very well by the staff. They act very professional and knowledgeable yet they have a terrific bedside manner and smiles that they share with myself and the other patients. My issue is with the dietary Department. For the first few days things were fine but a couple of days ago that all changed. When I would receive my tray items that I had ordered either would be missing or replaced with items that I either could not eat because they would upset my stomach or that I completely disliked. I did try to rectify the issue by speaking with someone in dietary a couple of days ago and I was assured that the issue would be resolved but apparently it has not. To add insult to injury this morning when I received my food tray; I was greeted with a half of a banana which had been exposed to air and began to Blacken was there for me to eat. Needless to say I became irate and wrote a note to the dietary Department expressing myself accordingly. Before returning this half banana to dietary I received a phone call from that department. I spoke with a very nice woman Norma who assured me that the issue would be resolved immediately. We will see; until then Bon appetit Corpus Christi.
