My grandmother was in the hospital for fluid building up in the lungs and we wanted a second opinion and that is when the nurse said she has to die sometime, I didn't know she was Jesus and knew the life expectancy for every person. If you are over 60 they write you off,

Just went in to the ER because my wisdom tooth became infected. I knew I needed to get antibiotics for the infection so it didn’t spread any further, and I knew it was an infection because there was literally no other explanation.

The doctor I saw seemed like a nice enough guy, but he wouldn’t listen to me and just acted as if i was in there trying to get some kind of prescription (which I know is common in the burg, but Jesus I just wanted antibiotics) , Meanwhile the left side of my face is visibly swollen (when I say visibly I mean VISIBLY) and I was literally in tears from the pain.

He tried to tell me it was just my wisdom tooth erupting, which I knew wasn’t the case because I saw a dentist two years ago who confirmed that all my wisdom teeth already came through. I tried to tell him this but he ignored me. He wouldn’t let me speak, so I just kept saying “it’s infected” until he finally (reluctantly) agreed to give me antibiotics.

Im a bit shocked at the fact that this guy couldn’t tell that I had an infection, I feel like it was pretty obvious, maybe if he would have allowed me to talk he would have realized that there is no way it was a miraculous fifth wisdom tooth coming in. If I hadn’t demanded antibiotics I easily could have ended up with a blood infection, which can be deadly.

The only reason im giving two stars is because the wait time was short, and the doc did end up giving me antibiotics even though he apparently didn’t believe me.

Just got a bill (from 5 years ago. . .) From a collections agency. My fiancee had an emergency delivery. We had coverage. . .
All of the sudden, now we owe a doctor 5k???
