I had an appointment in the Radiology Department today. Everyone was very thorough but also very kind. Lindsey and Bruce did an excellent job making me comfortable during the procedure. I was also able to get my MRI results today which certainly eased my anxiety.

Wife went in last night for contractions and really bad pain, the nurse that was there just let her sit in misery without giving her anything, contractions were 5 minutes long and about 5 minutes apart, there excuse was they couldn't get ahold of Dr, to know what to give her we finally had to just tell them we were leaving so I could buy her Tylenol. I think we are going to look for better birthing center that takes care of there patients better.

Worst billing department ever. I got a letter from collections. I call the hospital and ask why as I make payments every month on 4 different accounts. The woman who was looking over the accounts could not figure it out and said she would have to research it and call me back. One week later no call back. I find that I have a bill with one account number, under details they list 7 other accounts, (every dr. visit creates a new account number) apparently I receive one bill but must write 8 checks to them, the billing rep doesn’t know this and must “research it” but I’m supposed to automatically know this. So while I build a $200 credit on the account that is paid in full they send 7 other accounts to collections.

Dr Child is a great podiatrist. Golden Valley is as well. Organized, efficient and professional!

Made a mistake going to ER on a holiday weekend! No nursing staff greeting..security person finally answered buzzer used to alert. Filled out a brief form, sat and waited for 2 hr. without being checked in or seen by a physician. Left in frustration. Folks don't go to ER just to have something to do!! Speaks volumes about our health system!!!!
