I’m currently 37weeks pregnant. I went to the hospital to tonight because I was having really bad headaches, and couldn’t feel my baby move. I get there to be seen and as usually I was asked all protocol questions. Well after that I let them where’s the pain, and how long it had been having the pain. Which I’ve been having issues with shortness of breath, dizziness, now swelling, and they’ve found protein in my urine; I mean the list goes on. They check everything, and everything “SEEMS” to look fine, but how I’m feeling it’s not. This nurse or who every she is comes in and ask me “if my shortness of breath is related to anything else other than my pregnancy ?” They didn’t give me any pain, as I kept complaining about pain, nor did they give me any thing to drink because it could have been associated with hydration. Noooooo ! The nigh shift there seems as if they don’t want to do anything. I can’t tell you if they even introduces themselves. I’m currently at home now, because discharging myself was the right but yet I’m still in pain !!!
We are minorities and our family had some bad experiences at this very poor quality hospital few years ago.
A few kind staff but many were just rude and seem to think they were better than the rest of the world because they worked in the ICU or the ED.
Many Staffing there are shameful!!!!
We’ve been to Froedert and St Luke’s
And have only encountered very kind and compassionate staff,
how you would expect from such professionals.
Compassion for patient care my a** !!!!
I would never go there by choice!!!!
Why isn’t there 0 stars rating?
This is my true rating for them; 🤬🤢🤢
Such an awful experience. I was rushed with trying to explain my symptoms and the first nurse cam in and rushed right at me feeling my back and trying to quickly explain what could be wrong. I told her that i didn’t think that was it. They sent me to another room where a PA repeated what the nurse said, again I told them that this is not what it feels like. They prescribed me medicine and sent me home. I was back in a different ER 2 days later with a proper diagnosis. I would rather wait 3 hours and the aurora Sinai hospital with a proper diagnosis than be talked down to and given a wrong diagnosis.
I am a patient at Columbia St. Mary's and have been for over 20 years. I delivered my son there and get all my physicals and anything health related here. I have a neighbor who is a Doctor at Columbia St. Mary's in Milwaukee. His name is Min Koo. Today I had to call the police on him and his wife because they were harassing me. He was staring at me like a serial killer out of his window while I was cutting my grass. I turned off my mower and ran inside because I was shaking. The way he stared at me was so creepy it sent chills down my spine. That is when his wife and son came down their driveway, peered in my windows and started yelling. I went outside and they started taunting me, calling me names and laughing at me because I had just gotten out of an abusive relationship. He told me my ex boyfriend was a criminal and I should be ashamed. I called the police because I was in fear of my safety. I will never ever go back to Columbia St. Mary's if this is the type of person they employ. Someone who intentionally goes out of his way to make his neighbor feel scared. Doctors are supposed to be compassionate human beings who are advocates in the communities in which they live and work. Not harassing women and making they feel scared to be be in their own homes.
Update on this situation: I spoke with a patient advocate for Ascension. She told me that because Dr. Min Koo was harassing me at home and not in his place of employment (Ascension) there was nothing they could do. She told me that I would have to call the hospital prior to my or any of my family members visits to ensure Dr. Min Koo was not working! Clearly, a patients safety is not important. The last place I would trust my health and safety or anyone in my family is Ascension! There are too many other places like Froedert who will take my concerns seriously. In today's environment, when people are harrassing and killing people at work, you would think Ascension would take patient safety a bit more serious. I can guarantee that Dr. Min Koo is dangerous not only in his neighborhood but also at work. I know several Dr.'s who work with Dr. Min Koo who verified that he has a short fuse and a temper.
My brother arrived at the ER aroundv1:30pm. He wasn’t put in a room until 4:30pm. The Doctor came in once. No one even came in to check or ask if he needed anything. We called the nurse he came in and cut off the call light and walked back out. The next time he came in he said the doctor was to discharge him. The doctor comes in gives a piss poor explanation and leave our. I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS ER AGAIN! Terrible service!
