After being scared the whole time that I would have a bad experience, I ended up realizing that the staff were nice and helpful, which helped for the rest of the stay. I was scared to death when reading the bad reviews because I was doing it while already in the hospital. I went through and eventually realized that it was mostly about how people had to wait hours for non-emergency issues at the ER. I guess some people don't realize that most ER's are filled with crack-heads and non-emergency issues can't be prioritized over the guy who just got shot or beat over the head with a bat, especially in Chicago with all the crime?

The wait for the transfer was too long for my sister, but they’ve done the best they could to keep her comfortable. If I had to Rate a specific Nurse, BRAD from the ER was so nice to us and took his time for quality care I’d rate him a 5 star rating. RN BRAD, you’re an outstanding Nurse don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise especially colleagues. The ER seemed quite outdated, there is still more room for improvement.

More like a zero!!!! 6 hours here waiting in the waiting area with kidney pains. But I’m not surprised. Girl in the registration area gives you an attitude of a question is asked. Nurse in the triage is another one with and attitude! They have no sympathy for the patients. I really don’t understand why they chose to work in this field Seriously!! Do yourself a favor Quit your job!! Now let’s see the treatment the nurses and Doctors treat me after I’m called in..... well if I ever get called!!

The ER staff is great. They took great care of me even though I don’t have health insurance. In fact, they have a case worker on site at the hospital that is helping me out. This hospital goes above and beyond to help. I’m very grateful to have them in my neighborhood.

We took our 5 years old child to ER . We waited for two hours in the lobby. Then they took us in on a chair not even a room. We waited another two hours to see the nurse practitioner. Then they did x-ray and it took another four hours. Doctor never showed up. My son fell asleep and they never checked on him. They didn’t even clean his bloody face . This place should be shut down ASAP. I got upset asking for discharge paper and they said of result came in Ok but we still need to go back to primary doctor for follow up next day. I will never ever go back to this miserable place. It took 10 hours for them to discharge my child not even with seeing a doctor.
