I read many reviews after being referred here from my doctor and was a bit nervous, but overall I had multiple good experiences over a period of 3 visits. Each time that I went the staff, nurses, and doctors were all very helpful, friendly, and polite. They made me feel really comfortable. This was for the GI section/unit that I I had my experience in. I did take off one star due to wait time. Each time that I came in with appointments I had to wait a minimum of 30 minutes before seeing the doctor. That was even after being checked in. However, I also felt that this may have been due to the doctor/staff being so thorough. Each conversation with a doctor felt very genuine and was never rushed. I felt that as a patient, they were actively listening to me as well as giving me meaningful and well thought out feedback. So in a way I guess you could see it as quality over quantity. The quality of service/care was great but the time was not. If you are impatient or have a plan to go somewhere directly after your appointment this might not be the best choice. However I will continue to go back if I have further GI issues.
I’m not one to write reviews, but had to rate this one. Too bad ZERO star is not an option!! The worse hospital and experience ever!! This rating is based on yesterday and today’s experience! The hospital looks like a haunted house. Horrible ER staff- from registration to two ignorant nurses (male and female) 6/12, 10pm. My husband was in severe pain - for the female nurse to say to him “you’re not dying if you’re talking.” No compassion for ER patients whatsoever! Quit your job because you don’t belong in this profession.
The doctor “specialist” that finally performed my husbands surgery had no bedside manners and had a terrible attitude.
The procedure start to finish should be done in an hour (quick out patient) 48hours later and counting.
This hospital needs a complete makeover from structure to staff.
When I first came here to visit my grandmother I personally thought the place was a little rundown but nothing extremely terrible and once I was with her all the people seemed nice but this is my second time coming and I was trying to take a photo of something behind her so I would be able to show her since she wasn’t able to see anything behind her and a one of the nurses or whoever she was said you can’t take pictures because it’s against policy so I was like ok, alright no problem . So then a few minutes later she comes in the room with us and acts like she’s ready to confiscate my phone or like arrest me or something and then once she acts like a prig for a few minutes she completely swerved her attitude and acted like nothing happened and tries to start joking with us. Then a few minutes later a bunch of nurses and others started swarming around our room like they were trying to watch us like we were criminals. I’m usually not upset by things like this but today I feel kind of offended and really don’t even feel comfortable here anymore. At least the people here seem to know how to do their jobs when it comes to taking care of the patients but when it comes to the visitors they seem to be very off put.
Wors please or if you want to call it hospital nurses whit attitude I don't rest at all sheriff officers talking loud on allways defenely my nex medical visit is not on this hospital
I had the worst experience in my life at this ER will never go there again. My human rights were violated, and not a word from the ceo to me. I filed a complaint it was investigated, and it was found in my favor. The things that were said ,and done to me should never happen to anyone by a doctor ever.
