feedback about Community Regional Medical Center
Community Regional Medical Center, Fresno must have been the brain child of someone who had A.D.D.
The reason I say that is because every time a new part of the hospital is completed, they move on to the next phase and completely forget about how patients are able to get to it or even how it connects to the existing building. There's an old sayin in woodworking, "measure twice and cut once" that should have been been applied here. It would have been nice to know before hand how easy or not it would be to get to the newest addition prior to it being built.
We came in through the ER transferred from Clovis ER. We've had wonderful attentive help all of the time. The staff are compassionate and skilled even when they are overworked.
No procedure or surgery done but charging my insurance an outrageous $43000 for my two night unnecessary stay. They still haven't sent any of us an itemized bill to show what they are really charging me for. What a corrupt medical system we have in this country
I was sent here from St. Agnes with fractured scapula, ribs and a slightly punctured lung. The doctors here were like vultures as they kept prescribing me the tests that were just completed at St Agnes. They were also not interested in helping me once I told them I don't live there which meant I will not be going to see them at their private practices during my recovery. They left me in the emergency room all night just because I refused the unnecessary procedures and scans. Nurse refuse to give me water even though the doctor has cleared it. I was tossed around recklessly by the staff even though I was screaming with pain. They moved me to icu even though I only have couple of fractures just so they can rack up the hospital bill. They billed my insurance an exorbitant amount of $41000 for my two night stay there. After this experience, I would rather die than ever end up in a hospital. It's a shame that all these medical professionals and hospitals care is to squeeze as much out of a patient as possible rather than truly caring for them
The nurses like 5/10 are so rude, like literally bullies. some have been really nice & on top of their work but i felt like it was all the older ones, some of the younger nurses were just insanely rude, they work to fast to even get to know what’s going on with you & each time kept coming in & asking me questions about my condition, like did you not read my chart to see why i’m here??
i was sent to have my baby & instead of keeping me in a labor & delievery room like Kaweah Delta would have done they sent me to a regular room & one that i had to share again something Kaweah Delta doesn’t do & on top of that said if i get a roommate that my husband would have to leave & we live 46 miles away from the hospital that’s a 1 & half hour drive away & we don’t have the time or gas to be traveling back & forth like that & then tell us we can stay in a house called the Terry House but we will be charged 30$ a night, there’s no point in that. also said if i got a roommate my husband would have to walk all the way down to the 1st floor just to use the bathroom. i really don’t understand how such a big city has such a small hospital so small to the fact that they have to make patients share rooms, RIDICULOUS! i didn’t like the fact that the rules were so stupid & strict, it doesn’t help the families who live far away especially when the patient is in a critical situation & needs their partners help. most nurses were so rude & worked carelessly. i would not recommend ever coming here willingly, EVER!
“I guess the patient is on a fast drip?” I stated my inference in a tone of a question after I noticed she changed the IV fluid less than an hour.
The nurse replied “what’s a fast drip?” confused, I repeated the word as I was perplexed for such a common word associated with IV intervention is not known to a professional.
