Another excellent experience at CVMC. Before, during, and after surgery, the nurses, doctors, administration and staff were excellent. I was quite nervous, especially when a needle was involved. Everyone went out of their way to make me feel at ease. My stay in the hospital was outstanding, and the discharge was a breeze. I would recommend this place to everyone.

If you have something very minor they might be able to take care of you. Otherwise they truly might kill you. They have awards they shouldn't have received and have hurt or killed many people n my family. Go the extra mile and go somewhere else

Great facility! Very caring and attentive staff and clean facility! Much better than Children's at Birmingham. They treated our one year old so wonderfully! He was very comfortable as was my husband and I! We prefer this hospital for our kids!

The E.R. IS HORRIBLE! We waited a hour and a half...my mom was admitted...we were in the back Er section from 5:30 until 1:30 when she finally got a room...Last year my sister was throwing up uncontrollably and they sent her home. I took her to Citizens in Talladega and they admitted her. Shame on CVMC! I was admitted a month ago and everything was good once I was admitted . Waiting in the waiting area was too long (I was in pain). The Er doctor was great but why are they SOOOOOO SLOW! The whole Er staff needs to be evaluated! Throw out the TRASH NOW! Professionalism is at an all time low!

I had a baby at CVMC in June. I love hospital staff. The staff is nice with the exception of one nurse that had a bad attitude. They could definitely step it up on the cleanliness of the rooms at CVMC. The floors and showers are filthy. My husband spilled water on the floor in the labor & delivery and when he wiped it up the napkin was black.. The floors are in general sticky in both rooms we were in. The shower had ring worm growing on the curtain. I don't understand why there is such a lack of cleanliness when bleeding follows birth. And the lady that cleans is horrible. She sprays a lot of cleaning solution on the sink and toilet then does a quick wipe off, throws a card at you while you and your baby are choking on the fumes, and runs out the door. Aside from the minor filth of the rooms I would suggest this place just because the nurses are so awesome and I believe Dr. Rehberg is the best OBGYN.
