Last thing I wanted to do on vacation was seek out an urgent care clinic. Started out at the Medical Clinic in Hill City. They are NOT a walk in clinic, but were very helpful and referred me to Custer Community. (Walk in the front door and tell them you're there for urgent care. They check in for both.) I was seen very quickly and everyone was very detail oriented. I felt like they wanted to help and get me back to enjoying my vacation. Worked my eyes up six ways to Sunday and referred me to an awesome Opthamologist. Great service and care at all levels. If you need them, go. They’ll take excellent care of you!

We went to the hospital the day before Easter my boyfriend had been in a motorcycle accident. They told him nothing was broken and here we are almost 3 weeks later back at the ER 7 broken ribs! How do you miss all that?!??

While I cant point the finger at the whole Staff at Custer Regional for the actions of one department , I’ll give a decent star rating. Most of the staff in the Custer branch ore wonderful. First, I would like to THANK the staff in the emergency room the night of November 30-December 1 who did all they could for my father and the courtesy you showed my family. You are true blessings. On another note, My father recently passed away in the facility. The billing department decided that they must need their money right away and called my grieving mother who JUST lost the love of her life and best friend a few days prior, to ask her when she was going to pay the bill for the hospital visit. Are you kidding me!? We get it, you want your money but how heartless and inconsiderate to call within a few DAYS. You could’ve at least waited until after the service OR sent a bill like any other facility! I am so incredibly disgusted and appalled by the lack of sensitivity and professionalism from this department. I think the family, ESPECIALLY my mother deserves an apology for the lack of common sense and compassion.
