Horrible service and very rude doctors. No bedside manner!
I have had experience with District one on more than one occasion. I have never had a bad experience with them. My first experience was with a miscarriage. The care was excellent. They actually cared about you. You are not a number to them. I have brought my daughter there to the emergency room. She was admitted. The care they gave her was great. Before she was discharged they helped her get arrangements for getting the bill taken care of. They were very helpful. A friend went there after she had gone to another facility as didn't get help there. She went to District one and they helped her. I have also taken my grand daughter there on an occasion where she was not being helped at another facility and they went up and beyond to find out what was going on.
The staff is very friendly. and caring.
My mom has had many visits to District one hospital since Jan 2012 (about 48!) and I can't express how awesome we have been treated each visit! They have always addressed our concerns and have been very available for questions, and have been supportive of both her and I, her caregiver. I wouldn't want to have had to go through what we have been going through without their care and support! A+++ for District One!
Kelly Lou, maybe Fran helped so that nurse wouldn't ridicule or treat people callously anymore. It's her job to help people and make them feel more comfortable.
Seriously terrible service. Great nursing staff, terribly unprofessional doctor. It's pretty bad when the doctor comes in and asks how you are, you tell him your pain level is still very high, he tells you sorry, it's the best I'm going to be able to do, sends you with 10 pills.. AND THEN WALKS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CURTAIN AND TELLS THE GUY THE SAME THING.. EXACT SAME THING!
