I had a wonderful birth experience here at District One. Everyone was so supportive and understanding and made me feel as comfortable as possible. They provided great care after my surgery and helped me out with any struggles that I was having as a new mother. The kitchen staff was knowledgeable about a gluten free diet as well and provided nice meals. I would recommend this hospital to others expecting a little one.

They were alittle slow on my diagnosis for pain control but then the doctor figured it out and was good till I had my surgery and recovered fully.

Staff were friendly but If you are in serious pain do not go here. They will not prescribe anything beyond Tylenol and Ibuprofen. I have been in excruciating pain for 2 days now trying to manage on Tylenol and ibuprofen which is making me vomit. Now I have to go see another doctor just to get my pain under control. What a joke of a medical facility. Turns out I had multiple fractured ribs and they missed it. Disappointing to say the least.

Horrible hospital. What a joke

I have had experience with District one on more than one occasion. I have never had a bad experience with them. My first experience was with a miscarriage. The care was excellent. They actually cared about you. You are not a number to them. I have brought my daughter there to the emergency room. She was admitted. The care they gave her was great. Before she was discharged they helped her get arrangements for getting the bill taken care of. They were very helpful. A friend went there after she had gone to another facility as didn't get help there. She went to District one and they helped her. I have also taken my grand daughter there on an occasion where she was not being helped at another facility and they went up and beyond to find out what was going on. The staff is very friendly. and caring.
