Please contact me and explain why on 3/12/19, I spent OVER 3 hours trying to speak with someone in that facility. I dialed every dept including emergency 4 times and no one answered the phone. I know there is a good EXPLANATION why answered the phone in a HOSPITAL. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL UNLESS YOU HAVE NO OTHER RECOURSE!

Please avoid this hospital! In the course of my profession, I spend a lot of time in hospitals making visits. On this occasion, I was taken to the emergency room at Doctors as a patient, and it was the worst experience I ever had. In fact, I believe they committed fraud. I have filed my concern with my insurance company, and I plan to file a formal complaint with the state regulatory board. I went in on Sunday night after many, many days of what I thought was a stomach virus. I was taken to an exam room quickly, but the service and care went down for there. Early the following morning, I was told I would be admitted and would be taken to a room upstairs, after spending seven hours in the ER exam room. The physician's assistant told me that I would be placed on observation upstairs, and she gave me other instructions as to what would be done while I was on observation. I signed all the paperwork for admittance and met with the admissions registration. Despite all of that, I was never take to a room upstairs. In fact, I was left in the ER exam room. Four hours after being admitted, an ER nurse came to me and asked if I was able to keep the half-cup of chicken broth down that I was given for breakfast. I said yes but that it had only been about 15 minutes since I ate it. He said that was good and that I was being discharged. Within thirty minutes, I found myself sitting by myself on the front curb waiting for my family members to pick me up. On top of that, during the nearly 11 hours I spent in the ER exam room, I was never provided a pillow or a blanket. I had to ball up my sweatshirt and use it as a pillow. Not one single staff member would bring me a pillow. I suspect they "admitted me" for four hours so that they can then bill my medical insurance additional costs.

Feel like The HELL not hospital. We went there for emergency care of my baby but took 4 hours to see a doctor. Technician don't khnow how to do x-ray to baby. Poor service I ever sen.

I have been very impressed with the services received, the patient care and bedside manner at Doctor's these past few years. I have been approximately four times in the past two or three years. I'm a caregiver of a parent and then I had two incidences that required emergency care. I will say that the emergency room is very thorough with regards to taking blood work, X-rays, and making sure that they run all tests that are applicable to your situation. I appreciate the TVs in the emergency rooms, the vending machines in the waiting areas, the rooms are clean and updated and although short staffed the nurses/aides respond in a reasonable time when called.

I have read some of the other reviews and have to say that hasn't been my experience. I am sorry for anyone that has to experience what those negative reviews state. I wish those individuals that had positive experiences took the time to complete reviews. I had to take my dad to Georgetown Hospital last month and WISHED that I had chosen Doctor's instead (at least for the energency room services).

I went to the ER experiencing severe back and leg pains and trouble walking and knee pain also swelling in both of my calves, and I had to wait in the waiting room for 5 hours before I was seen by a doctor. Then after all that time, all I was given was 2 Percocet tablets and they NEVER EVEN said anything about my swollen calves and I was discharged with paperwork for back pain!!
I also was promised more effective pain medicine after I told them that Percocet didn’t work for me, but I never got it!!
