When you arrive at the hospital, one can only hope that you’re not forgotten about. I arrived at 6:20pm and the lobby was somewhat filled. After a while, patients were called back and some even left as I was still waiting (for another 3 hours mind you). When I went to the counter to let the person know I was going to leave, she asked me my name and then proceeded to tell me that my name was called. I left the lobby area for 2 mins. to use the restroom and you’re trying to tell me that my name just happened to be called at that very moment. I’m call BS on that one. At any rate, she asked me to have a seat and I would be called shortly. Well, shortly turned into another 30 mins. I was then called back, placed in another waiting room with the curtain closed where I am now waiting yet again. It’s been 4+ hours and all I wanted was someone to look at my eye and tell me if I have an infection and perhaps give me some eye drops. I have never been a fan of hospitals and try my best to stay as healthy as possible to stay away from them. However, when things like this happen and I’m forced to seek medical attention, my hope is that it is delivered in a manner in which most people would deem appropriate. Much to my dismay, this hospital lacks everything you could hope for with regard to patient needs. Whatever you do, stay away from this hospital and go to Holy Cross. I have wasted 4+ hours of my life that I will never get back. Giving one (1) star is too much. 👎🏾👎🏾😡😡

My 80 year old Mother was admitted here on Saturday 8/18/2018, needing emergency surgery that next morning. The surgery went well but the treatment on the 5th floor was inadequate. Whenever they had to move her in the bed they would man handle her like an animal . When she would need to relieve herself they would leave the bedpan under her for an hour. Sometimes they would leave it for to put on the table and other times they would just plain let her wet the bed.She had her air tube removed and thrown on the floor. She had her call button strategically moved out of her reach. Her whole body was never bathed once. She was not once lifted out of the bed so she could sit up. When she complained the Aides would deny their actions. The lying seems to be habitual. On 8/23/18 I asked for some assistance for her and Bryan over the PA said " the family that has a problem is calling". The final dagger was when Lisa told me that my Mother has worse things to think about after discharge rather than how she is being treated in here. So you project on somebody the relativity of your inappropriate and unacceptable actions and try to deflect it towards start worrying about your long term issues instead of the poor service that happens in here.

I went to the ER with heart palpitations. It was pretty crowded and there was a long wait, which I certainly can’t fault them for. I think they did their best with how many people had come in. I found the nurses and technicians to be friendly and helpful. I felt like my concerns were taken seriously. Dr. Zwally was polite and knowledgeable.

My grandfather was taken to the emergency room on December 28 2016 to receive a shot for his cancer and for low blood.  He received the shot and a blood transfusion.  Unfortunately the ER doctor decided he should be admitted to the hospital.  The hospital discovered an UTI.  He fell in the hospital.  Then he was not able to eat or drink.  Then he got 2 new infections in the hospital, one in his lungs and the other in his blood.  He was on a breathing machine.  We decided to end life support.  Dr. Austin was his doctor; avoid this doctor, he is terrible.  This is a bad hospital with bad nurses and doctors that don't care about people and patients.  Please stay away from this hospital.

First of all, if you are disabled, forget the Emergency Room there. There is a steep slope you have to climb to enter and you are definitely a fall risk when you leave.

I managed to whack a great bloody hole in my leg at 5 am. By 11 am, I was able to control the bleeding enough to get to the ER. I was in the ER until 6 pm. Never did see the busy, busy doctor but was told that 12 hours after the injury, it couldn't be stitched. Go home. The entire treatment was a saline wash and a bandage. I would have done better not going to Doctors at all. Waste of energy, time and money.

Went to Laurel Wound Care. The injury was V shaped, 7 inches long and 3 inches deep at its deepest point. Not sure whether I should be grateful my bone kept the wound from being deeper or not but I highly recommend Laurel Wound Care.

Laurel Wound Care was wonderful. It took four months to get the wound closed but I don't think I would have gotten it healed without Laurel Wound Care.

Doctors Hospital ER? A waste. Don't go.
