Bait and Switch: Voicing concern to the front desk that I did not want to go into an Urgent care room if it was going to cost $500 to look in my ear, when all I needed to know was "could I make it through the New Year's weekend?" She then advised me the doctor could tell me when I was back in the room. I went back. The doctor came and said "I have no clue on what that would cost, I am not billing." I left and received a $501 bill for stepping into that room where I was told the doctor could tell me how much it was going to be. Hmmmmm. So excited that I get to pay $41 each month over the next year and that I should be thankful they gave me 20% off as I was a cash only patient- it was more??? Holy cow. It now seems everyone in the hospital knows this. So why could they not tell me that in the first place? Nice lady who helped me in billing, nice doctor, but so sad that this is how it ended up. PLEASE IMPROVE YOUR COMMUNICATIONS, PROCESSES and BILLING policies to patients on the front end please.
Doctors and nurses great. Woman at the Urgent Care desk rude. She literally told me not to call back because they have things to do. I was checking to see if it was busy at the moment and she said “no.” But too busy to take a call...
Have had several great experiences at the Edgerton Hospital ER over the past year or so. The two that stand out to me are where Dr. Miller was the ER doctor. He is such a great doctor and I would recommend him and the Edgerton ER to anyone. The staff was great and I felt cared for and listened to the entire time.
I’ve had a terrible experience here. The nurses and doctors were great, but to work here with the Revenue Cycle group was the worst experience I have had so far. Very unprofessional.
I received excellent care from the surgery department staff. They were kind, caring, and professional in every way.
