Effingham Hospital

I work healthcare and I was impressed with the quality of care I received. ER staff was attentive, listened to my symptoms and took care of me. The nurse that started my IV was great (sorry I don't remember her name) and my nurse Cody was very good, confident and pleasant. Can't ask for much more. Thanks for all of your help!

Best hospital ever! had my baby boy here and all the nurses and doctors were awesome; very attentive, helpful, kind, hard working and compassionate.

My husband just got home after four days there. The 3rd floor staff was exceptional. They took great care of him, I never feared going home at night and leaving him there.

This hospital is a joke. The staff are very rude and hateful towards anyone who tries to give them information about their health issues. I have a chronic illness, and when I told them, they wanted to RETEST everything. They did unnecessary radiation, IVS, and many more. One of the doctors told me "Well, you could die.". YOU DO NOT SAY THAT TO SOMEONE WHO HAS SEVERE ANXIETY ISSUES AND THEN WALK AWAY LIKE YOU NEVER SAID A WORD! The nurses here are very snobby. The hospital is very slow. They make you feel judged, unimportant, and that you don't know anything! I will not be coming here again. Do not try and educate me about a disorder I have had ALL OF MY LIFE! I have been there and done that, I know what works for me and what doesnt. Really disappointed.

I have only positive things to say as to the care I was given at hshs St. Anthony emergency room last Friday evening. I felt in good hands under the nurse and Dr. who attended to me. Highly appreciated. Also the facility seemed so clean has a nice comforting decor and feel. Thanks so much for all your help.
