Erie VA Medical Center

My primary care provider and occupational therapist are great. 5/5 for them. However, this review is solely for the treatment from the sleep department. The man that I had to go to there was always rude. The doctor I spoke with over the phone wasn't of any help either. I gave them all of my medical records pertaining to my sleep studies from the past and it seems as if they did not even read them, stating that there was nothing indicative of the problem I was seeing them for. I've read my medical records and they say quite the opposite. So, not only did they not help, they also did not make any recommendations as what to do in the mean time and told me to come back in 6 months. They called to set up an appointment but I declined. It is not worth my time to go in and then just get blown off as if nothing is wrong. If you can, see a private health provider for sleep medicine rather than this VA.

So far I have had excellent care and in a very timely manner. I moved from Denver where you usually had to wait more then 1 month to get an appointment, I haven't had to wait more then 2 weeks so far. So far I'm impressed!!! Bravo Zulu

She's an excellent doctor! As far as someone's comment about physical therapy......she can refer you, but she is a doctor, not a physical therapist. I don't see how anyone could complain that she's trying to direct you to the appropriate field of medicine. She identified my health care needs, which others have neglected for the past 10 years and referred me to the best therapists in Erie!!

Urgent Care is one of the worst experiences of my life. And I was blown up in Iraq. 7 hours with two broken ribs, never talked to a doctor, and never got any help. They just discharged me when it was time to close. Went to a civilian doctor 3 days later and he didn't understand how I was walking. Avoid this horrible place. They don't care about you.
